Top 3 VOID Elemental Primaries! #Destiny

Welcome Guardians, this is the YouTube Channel for all things Destiny! This channel aims to provide you news, gameplay and tips & tricks for Destiny. Join and Subscribe for more videos!

Hi Guardians I have covered all the raid elemental primaries in my previous video And since you guys liked the video so much I thought let's continue this with a top elemental primary series.
So this will be the first of three videos coming up where I will go through the top 3 best guns for the elementals Void, Solar and Arc.

In this video we will go through the void primaries. I expect the Void primaries to become very popular as 2 of the 4 raids the Vault of Glass and the Wrath of the Machine both have void shielded enemies.
Using a Void primary means that you can use your primary to destroy the void shields and you can continue to use your favorite secondary or heavy weapon that might not have the same elemental damage. Not to say that it will replace your dark drinker for the wrath of the machine raid, the dark drinker will still be the most effective exotic for that raid. But if you have a good legendary replacement for the heavy weapon slot then you might want to use the exotic slot for an primary elemental exotic instead.

So lets have a look at all the Void primaries.
We have the vault of glass autorifle the Atheon’s Epilogue,
The hand cannons word of crota and Zaouli’s bane
The king’s fall scout Doom of Chelchis and the wrath of the machine pulse rifle the steel medulla

So lets start with the number 3 spot, this goes to the Word of Crota.
Back in year 1 word of crota was the go to weapon for void burn and that is for a good reason, hand cannons were very consistent and did not suffer that much of a damage fall off. Now range is king on the hand cannon and range is lacking for the word of crota. The base range is at an awful low 25 and hammer forged is able to increase the range but this will still be at a lackluster level at a max range of 37, given the range nerfs this gun is not the consistent gun anymore from year 1 , but hand cannons are still good at dealing big chunk of damage to enemies so the word of crota sits at spot number 3

The number 2 Spot goes to the Doom of Chelchis, this adept version has the fixed perk full auto whereas the legendary version can come with other perks like rangefinder, life support and eye of the storm.
Scouts are the most popular guns for raids and nightfalls because you typically want to stay far away from the enemies as possible at these high light level activities.
And scouts are very accurate, consistent and have a long range that is suitable for these activities, and having full auto on a scout means that you can consistently sustain damage just by holding the trigger.
The Doom of Chelchis also has the perk cocoon which reloads the gun for you when you switch temporarily to your secondary or heavy weapon, this is very helpful during boss damage phases where you start out with either your sniper or heavy weapon and once you are out of ammo you can just switch to you primary which is already automatically reloaded for you. It is just a gamers life enhancement perk.
Other than this the gun does not has much to offer in the perk tree, it has smallbore to bump up the average stats at the expense of mag size , hand loaded for extra range which is not really needed for a scout and lightweight is just meh…
When we look at the base stat this gun is very average and there is no stat that stands out, but in this case that is fine, you want to have a consistent scout , but given the fact that there isnt anything that stands out in the perk tree other than full auto and the cocoon perk which may proc every now and then the Doom of Chelchis earns it number 2 spot.

So in the number 1 spot we have the wrath of the machine pulse rifle the Steel medulla. This gun sits in the comfortable 14 impact archetype like the famous hopscotch pilgrim. The base stat are fantastic, it has an above average range, stability and reload, so this already gives it a head start compared with other similar guns but the Steel Medulla also has additional perks that makes this already great gun even better.
First of all it is a hakke pulse rifle so it fires burst of 4 bullets instead of 3, and in pve this can add up in terms of dps. Second of all the steel medulla has full auto to sustain that dps without the need to release the trigger, and thirdly it also comes with the signature perk sign of four which causes the fourth burst to do extra damage after landing three bursts. So you see how those perks all work together in making this gun even better.
And in the middle column you can have three solid options in the perk tree, Hand laid stock to make this gun even more stabile , high caliber rounds which is the go to perk , this pairs very well with the gun as it can keep yellow bar enemies easily stun locked, and speed reload for that extra reload speed. I recommend to run this with high caliber rounds.
So the steel medulla earns it number one spot with its great synergy of perks making this in my opinion the best Void Primary weapon that you should use for any void activity.

So that wraps it up for the video, a solar and arc top 3 will be coming soon so subscribe to stay up to date on that or if this is the past and the solar and arc videos are already ready in that case you can find it in the right hand corner as a Youtube card. You can also find a video where I showcased all the Raid Elemental primaries.
Anyways let me know your thoughts on the top 3 in the comments below.

ALL RAID ELEMENTAL PRIMARY weapons in Destiny! #Destiny

via IFTTT
Welcome Guardians, this is the YouTube Channel for all things Destiny! This channel aims to provide you news, gameplay and tips & tricks for Destiny. Join and Subscribe for more videos!

Hi guardians if you are looking for raid elemental primaries than you are in the right place, in this video I will give you an overview of all the raid primaries and what their elemental damage is so you can use it either for in the raid of in the strikes.
So first of all you can only earn these raid elemental primaries by doing the raid challenge mode which will rotate on a weekly basis.
If you are looking for the legendary versions without the elemental damage than you can get these from the hard mode versions of the raid, which can be done all the time just by adjusting the difficulty when you are selecting the raid.
So without further ado here is an overview of all the raid elemental primaries.
Lets start with the vault of glass raid, here you can earn four primaries.
The Praedyth’s Timepiece is Arc, I really hope the drop rate is increased by now for this one, since i still havent manage to get one yet.
Fatebringer is the Arc ,
Atheon’s Epilogue is the Void autorifle
And the Vision of Confluence has a solar elemental damage
Of these four Fatebringer and Vision of Confluence are really my old time favorite during year 1 and probably the most popular guns that people want from this raid.

Moving along in the Crota’s end raid you can earn
The Oversoul Edict Arc pulse rifle
The Abyss Defiant Solar autorifle
The void hand cannon Word of Crota
And the arc scout rifle Fang of Ir Yut
None of these really stand out and are really top tier weapons so I would deprioritize these

So lets continue and let me show you the newly added elemental raid primaries from the King’s Fall raid
We have two void weapons which is the hand cannon Zaouli’s Bane and the Doom of chelchis scout rifle.
The Anguish of Drystan is an Arc auto rifle and the Smite of Merain has Solar damage.
I would definitely grind for the Smite of merain this is easily one of the best raid pulse rifle and it has firefly to help you deal with big crowd of enemies and Solar is also one of the most common shields in the game, so this is definitely a top tier weapon that you want to have in your vault for any PVE encounter.

The final raid the wrath of the machine gives us the solar autorifle  Genesis Chain , the arc scout rifle Chaos Dogma , the hand cannon with solar damage
And the void pulse rifle the Steel Medulla (Void)

So those are all the raid elemental primaries in the game let give you another overview grouped by weapon class.

As you can see all the weapons have each of the elemental damage in his class. So when there is a weekly nightfall burn you can choose your favorite weapon class whether that is a hand cannon or autorifle there is an elemental damage for each one of them.
So what will you be looking for when you are doing the raid.
Both Vault of glass and the wrath of the machine have a lot of void shielded enemies, so you definitely want to have a void primary and the best one to use in my opinion the Doom of Chelchis and the Steel medulla they both have full auto which will help a lot with dealing with the adds.
Now Crota’s end and King’s fall have mostly solar enemies, and the best solar primary is without a doubt the smite of merain, it is already a fantastic pulse rifle with the firefly perk and if you add on the solar damage you will have no problems dealing with those solar wizards.

So that’s it for the  video I hope you liked the overview of the elemental primaries, A like is appreciated if you enjoyed this.

Latest News for the Age of Triumph, New Armor, Elemental Primaries and Rotating Vendor Rolls

via IFTTT
Welcome Guardians, this is the YouTube Channel for all things Destiny! This channel aims to provide you news, gameplay and tips & tricks for Destiny. Join and Subscribe for more videos!

Hi guardians the Age of Triumph is upon us and all the information regarding this event has now been released over the three streams that Bungie revealed in the past weeks.

To sum it up there will be a new record book called Age of Triumph with a lot of new emblems that you can earn for all kind of activities, and this record book is said to be a celebration for all the different players out there so it doesnt matter whether you only play Pvp or PVE or that you are a collector of ships or shaders there will be cool emblems to earn for each type of player.
The second stream confirmed that the old raids will be brought back and the final stream showcased all the different loot that you can earn from the revised raids.
You will be able to earn new armor from the different raids, and these armor are truly raid armor. They are flashy , and have different special effects and a lot of details, like when you get shot all the lights will retract and come back after a few seconds. These are truly trophees from beating the hardest activities in the game. Props to bungie for making such an awesome looking armor.
So not only can you earn new armor ,but you will be able to earn weapons as well.
All of the old raid weapons will be brought back to current light levels with a small twist. The legendary versions of the primaries will not have their elemental damage instead you can earn an adept exotic version that will have the elemental damage. So you will have a Legendary Fatebringer without the arc damage but there is also an adept Fatebringer with the arc burn but that will cost you an exotic slot.
So all Raid primaries will now have an adept versions with an elemental damage, the elemental damages wont change for all the Vault of Glass and Crota’s End weapons, so Fatebringer will still have arc, Vision of Confluence solar and atheon’s epilogue will still be void, so that means that the kings fall and wrath of the machine primaries will have an elemental damage added to their adept versions. So for now we know that the kings fall scout rifle doom of chechis and the hand cannon zaouli’s bane will be having void damage and  we will find out soon what the elemental damages will be for the remaining primaries.
The exotic versions can only be obtained during the challenge mode version of the raid that will rotate on a weekly basis.
There is one raid weapon that  will not be making a comeback and that is the black hammer, bungie’s take on it is that the black spindle replaces the black hammer so there is no need to bring back the black hammer as we have one already in an exotic form.

There is also exciting news happening in the tower, all of the vendor weapons and armor will now have weekly rotating perks. So if you havent got the vendor roll Palindrome or Wormwood yet go get them now because you might lose out on these near god rolls. Have a look at my Palindrome and Wormwood weapon review where I explain more in depth why the vendor roll is so good.
Personally I will be waiting for a god roll Bitter Edge Dead orbit sniper this is basically a Weyloran's march from previous iron banner with one of the highest aim assist but low impact sniper in the game, and I can recommend the Something Wicked Rocket launcher as well. This Rocker launcher with the right perks can become the best legendary rocket launcher in the game, I was lucky enough to get a God Roll dropped in the crucible with a nearly maxed out blast radius and velocity, see also my review video which can be found as a YouTube card in the right hand corner.

There are some sandbox and balance changes that will be in effect when Age of Triumph drops:
Autorifles will become a bit more effective at long range and have a shallower damage fall off curve. And Hand cannons will receive a range nerf of around 3 meters.
The Astrocyte  Verse helmet from the warlock is getting a recovery buff from plus 3 to plus 7 and health regen perks will now give a bigger portion of your health back at 57 before this it was a 36 health bump.
The No land beyond has its flinch added so it will behave like any other sniper now, and they fix the special ammo crates so that it behaves like heavy where the ammo will be reloaded automatically in the gun, this is a good change and it will definitely help speed up the game a bit where you dont need to reload anymore after picking up special and you can immediately pick up the action with your special weapon.
Sidearms have their ammo fixed so it will only respawn with one clip of ammo ,so that means you can no longer hoard any sidearm ammo anymore.

Those are all the things you need to know for the Age of Triumph , go enjoy this last update from Bungie before Destiny 2 drops!
And yes I did mention Destiny 2, if you are not aware of this yet. There has been some leaks around Destiny 2. What we know so far is that this will launch early september and there will be a beta coming out as well. So it is very exciting that Destiny 2 is around the corner it is essentially only 5 months out from now, so I am very excited about this and we probably will hear more about this during the E3 game conference.

So that sums it up for this video, A like is appreciated if you enjoyed this.

SOULSTEALER’s CLAW , BETTER than Doctrine of Passing & Arminius-D !!! #Destiny

via IFTTT
Welcome Guardians, this is the YouTube Channel for all things Destiny! This channel aims to provide you news, gameplay and tips & tricks for Destiny. Join and Subscribe for more videos!

The Soulstealer’s claw is a fast firing auto rifle that can be obtained from the Prison of Elders and after a year... this is still a beast in the crucible. So lets talk about it in this video!

Welcome back guardians for another destiny weapon review video, in this video we are going to review the Prison of Elders auto rifle the Soulstealer’s Claw.
This is a fast firing autorifle in the 2 impact category, other guns in this similar archetype is the famous Trials Doctrine of Passing, the Armsday Arminius-D, the Iron Banner Unbent Tree , the New Monarchy Autorifle the assembly II and the Crucible Hexcaster ARC.
I already reviewed the Arminius D and the new monarchy Assembly II auto rifles, if you haven’t seen it yet there is a link in the description below or click on the YouTube Card that will pop up now in the right corner.

When we compare the Soulstealer’s Claw with the others you will see that it has an above average range, stability, mag size and aim assist and with the right perks this can become even better than the famous Doctrine of Passing.
But first of all how can you get this gun? This gun is obtainable by ranking up the House of Judgements and Variks may reward you with a SoulStealer’s Claw.
I recommend ranking up by doing the Prison of Elders bounties and if you still have the house of judgement reputation boosters in your vault use them for the extra xp boost!
Also don't forget that you can scrap the old prison of elders item like armour core , tokens and treasure keys for extra reputation xp as well.

My Soulstealers claw has the following perks:
Red Dot ORS
Red Dot ORES
Perfect Balance
Hand-Laid Stock
Snapshot
Glass Half Full
Hip Fire

Mine is not a god roll but as you can see from the clips this gun can still do work.

In my opinion the god roll would be send it in the first column with counter balance in the last column, and its up to your preference with the middle column i would opt for single point sling so you can strafe faster, giving you a slight edge in your engagements.
The extra range boost from send it in combination with counterbalance which will remove the side to side recoil and makes the recoil only go vertically can make this gun even better than the famous doctrine of passing.
With this combination you will have a very stable gun with an easy to control recoil which will be very effective on a pretty crazy range for an autorifle.
The fast firing auto rifles usually lack in range and stability, and their effective range is close to medium range and the damage fall off is rather steep.
So the soulstealers claw already has a small advantage with an inherent base range of 24 compared with only 15 from the doctrine and if you pair this up with send it the range will go all the way up to 52 which is insanely high for an autorifle. And the Doctrine on the other hand does not have any range increasing perks so the max range is only capped at 27, which prevent the doctrine from being as effective at those longer ranges.
So with CounterBalance and Send it,  you will have a killer autorifle which is similar like the Doctrine but with a lot more range.

My roll does not have counterbalane but with perfect balance the recoil is still easily manageable and this gun feels consistent to use. I feel confident to pass the medium range and still hit those shots to finish off a kill, whereas other fast firing autorifles will not be that accurate in the same range.

But you will still want to stay out of the medium to long range, so you can cover that range with a sniper rifle in your secondary slot. But I would recommend a close quarters set up because that is where the strength is of this gun, you can pair it up with either a shotgun or a sidearm for the super short ranges and rely on the autorifle for the close to medium encounters.

So to conclude the Soulstealer’s claw is a fantastic autorifle with great base stats and with the right perks it can become even better than the Doctrine of Passing when you have the God roll Send It Counterbalance version of the gun. The God roll will extend the range of your gun and make you very effective on those longer ranges where autorifles usually had a hard time engaging in and that will guarantee to surprise guardians with your engagement on those longer ranges.
But even if you dont have the God Roll perks this gun will still do you good in the crucible. And luckily due to the possible perk options in the first column you will always have either a range increase with Hammer Forged or Send it or stability increase with perfect balance or both with smallbore. Although you really want to have Send it, having any of the other perks will complement the gun very well and using smallbore to bump both stats up is also a good option since the mag size is already so high you can take that hit in the reduced mag size.
The only downside is that this gun is so hard to get. You will need to rank up House of Judgement in order to get a chance on getting this weapon. Prison of Elders and Challenge of Elders are not the most fun PVE activity to play and the other guns that you get from these activities are pretty lackluster, so there is not a lot of incentive to play this PVE activity other than on having a chance to get the SoulStealer’s Claw.
But if you manage to get one , go have fun with it and let me know in the comments below what your thoughts are about this gun.

So that sums it up for this video, A like is appreciated if you enjoyed this video.
Let me know in the comments below which gun I should review next.

NEW LOOT! Bungie Weekly Rituals Reveal Age of Triumph Update #Destiny

via IFTTT
Welcome Guardians, this is the YouTube Channel for all things Destiny! This channel aims to provide you news, gameplay and tips & tricks for Destiny. Join and Subscribe for more videos!

So the second stream of Bungie has finished and we now know more about the weekly rituals.

Lets start with the loot, there will be new packages for you to earn similar like the treasures of the dawning , this time its named treasures of the ages. And with these packages you will be able to earn all the emotes, shaders, and armor from all the past live events. So if you have not completed your spektar or desolated taken armor yet this will help you complete that set.
And there will also be a new Age of Triumph armor set that you can get from these packages along with new shaders , ships and ornaments.
If you are missing certain items for your collection, for example if you are missing a specific armor piece, you can dismantle the items that you get from these packages for silver dust and you can use that to purchase any missing item from the Silver Dust Kiosk.
If you have enough silver dust you can literally get anything you want in this kiosk, you can use silver dust to trade for amor, ornaments , shaders, masks, sparrows, sparrow horns and emotes. So this is great for the collectors out there, when you are missing a specific piece to complete your collection

The age of triumph will start with a new quest from the speaker, this quest will take you through all the types of activities that destiny has to offer. It begins with the new weekly story playlist, which will replace the daily story quest. This playlist is basically a collection of story mission that are grouped together  from different expansions like a house of wolves playlist or dark below playlist.
Also this new playlist will offer one treasure of ages and you can earn five times per week 20 legendary marks.
This is a good change so you dont need to feel like you need to log in every day to get those legendary marks.

The Challenge of Elders is now confirmed to be added to the new 390 light level , and you will be able to earn 10 legendary marks three times  a week for completing this, as well as a legendary engram once a week.
The Siva Crisis Heroic playlist will continue to earn 10 legendary marks up to three times and you will also get a weekly Treasures of ages.
The crucible daily and weekly activity will be replaced with a Crucible weekly playlist that also offers a treasure of ages and 10 legendary marks upon completion up to three times.
And you will now be able to get two weekly crucible bounties from Lord Shaxx.
So with these changes you can easily earn the legendary mark cap of 200 in one day instead of getting the marks day by day.
This is good for players that still need to get some items from the vendor, but I guess for most players like me , we already bought all the stuff that we need , so I dont see a real need for this, but hey if there is more I will take it, why not.
So per week you can earn up to three Treasures of Ages, so if you are lucky you can get a complete Age of Triumph armor in two weeks if you are not paying for the packages.

At the end of the stream Bungie revealed the new Daybreaker modifier for the nightfall, this is basically the mayhem modifier for Pve where your super will charge much faster.
This will be a lot fun when this modifier is active. Especially when you setup your build to create more orbs, so that you and your fireteam can get supers over and over again.
And Bungie brought back the Blue Flames, for the people that dont know about this. In year one after a completion of the nightfall you will get an experience boost and you will get a blue flame on your guardian that  indicates that the experience boost is active.
So that will encourage players to do the nightfall on Tuesdays so you can take advantage of the experience boost throughout the rest of the week.
So thats the change to the nightfall, the rest remains the same. This Daybreak modifier will only be active once a month , and they are going to spice it up by having this modifier active for six week straight from 18th July to the 22nd of August.

One final thing, if you have watched the stream carefully you will see that there is a clip where 3 titans are all a wearing the Twilight Garrison which are affected by the shaders. So that is cool that this can now change colors as well as this has been a long time request from the players.

So that was the summary of the stream, next week Bungie will reveal new gear, ornaments, and weapons from the updated raids so that will be very existing.

As usual I will keep you up to date on all the news, so subscribe to stay notified.

Thanks for watching , leave a like if you enjoyed this video.

Top 3 BEST Pvp Sidearms in Destiny!

via IFTTT
Welcome Guardians, this is the YouTube Channel for all things Destiny! This channel aims to provide you news, gameplay and tips & tricks for Destiny. Join and Subscribe for more videos!

Hi Guardians welcome back for another destiny video. You must have been seeing a lot of sidearm usage after the february update, and you must be wondering what is the best sidearm that you can use in the game. That is what I will be answering for you in this video today where I will be revealing the top 3 best sidearms.

Before I present the top 3 lets go through the criteria that I used to evaluate the guns.
In order to get a place in the top 3 a gun needs to be obtainable in the current game right now, there is no use in presenting you the best gun that you cant get anymore, so we will not be going through old guns that you can not buy anymore
Also we will be looking at the realistic usage of the gun, what I mean with that is we are not going to focus only on what the gun has to offer on paper but I asses the gun on how it performs in realistic encounters.
An example would be a gun with a max fire rate where you can not realistically make use of it. So we will take these things into account when assess the top 3.
So without further ado I present you the top 3 Best sidearms in destiny.

In the number 3 spot we have the Vestian Dynasty. This sidearm falls into the 12 impact category like the wormwood and it has all the right stats to be the best sidearm in the game. In its 12 impact sidearm category the Vestian Dynasty has the highest range, stability, reload speed, aim assistance, and equip speed and it also has an above average mag size of 15. So you might be wondering why this is only in the number 3 spot if it has the highest stats in its category, well there are a couple of things to justify this. First of all the gun the can not be brought to max light level, so you will be at a disadvantage if you were to bring this gun to Light level enabled activities like trials or iron banner. This might change with the upcoming Age of Triumph where a lot of the old guns will be brought back to max light levels, but at the making of this video this is not the case yet. And another reason why the vestian dynasty is in the number 3 spot is because the shots fired from this gun has travel time, whereas other sidearms are mostly hit scan meaning that it will immediately hit the enemy when you pull the trigger. So you will have a slight disadvantage when you are in a 1 on 1 engagement with your opponent that has a hit scan weapon instead.
So the vestian dynasty has all the stats to be an amazing weapon but unfortunately because it cant be brought to max light levels and the fact that it is not a hit scan weapon it earns it number 3 spot on our list.

The number 2 spot goes to the trespasser. This is the exotic sidearm that got released with the Rise of Iron expansion and it has an above average range and reload speed and it has also an max out stability that will help with landing your shots.
It has fixed perks , with in the first column relentless tracker which grants an enhanced radar upon a kill and you have the option to choose hand loaded or reinforced barrel to increase the range at the sacrifice of stability or quickdraw. Since Range is king on sidearms and the stability is already maxed out most of the players will use Reinforce barrel to get that max range of 42.
And the final  exotic perk grants you a longer more powerful super burst when you reload the gun after a kill.
So with that you have an high impact , high range and very stable sidearm with the potential of having a long super burst.
However the Trespasser is in the number 2 spot due to the fact that it is an exotic and it holds up an exotic slot, there are other good legendary sidearms that can potential takes it place instead so you can use your favorite exotic in your primary of heavy weapon slot.
Also the exotic perk is very situational and it does not feel exotic enough that can help you consistently with your engagements in the crucible and thus the Trespasser is in the number two spot.

So the final number one spot goes to the Wormwood. I already gave a lot of praise for this gun in my review video, if you havent seen that yet I highly recommend to check it out. A youtube card will pop up now which will direct you to that video.
So the wormwood is in the 12 impact category with high stability and above average aim assist. So overall this gun is very average, but with the right perks it can become a very good and maybe the best Sidearm in the game at the moment.
The god roll is considered to be truesight or sureshot IS for the scopes, high caliber rounds, hand loaded and rangefinder to max out that all so important range stat.
Normally you need to praise to the RNG gods to get a god roll of any gun, but luckily the near perfect god roll is easily attainable from the Future War Cult vendor.
The vendor version has truesight IS, high Caliber rounds, Hand loaded and Hidden Hand. You dont have range finder but hidden hand is an excellent replacement to help you with your target aquisition.
So with this you have an excellent near perfect god roll sidearm that is easily obtainable from the vendor. The fact that this is a legendary weapon means that you can save an exotic slot for your primary or heavy weapon.

So that sums it up for the top 3 best sidearm video, do note that this is my top 3 and it can differ with yours. Let me know in the comment below what your top 3 is and what other top 3 videos you want to see from me.

NEW RECORD BOOK & OLD RAIDS CONFIRMED | Age of Triumph Reveal Stream update #Destiny

via IFTTT
Welcome Guardians, this is the YouTube Channel for all things Destiny! This channel aims to provide you news, gameplay and tips & tricks for Destiny. Join and Subscribe for more videos!

Bungie has completed their first of three reveal streams and we boy we have a lot to talk about in this video

Hi Guardians welcome back. Bungie just announced what is in store with the Age Of Triumph update. In the twitch stream we had Deej the community manager , Ryan the lead designer of the live team and Joe the Raid designer who designed the Wrath of the Machine. And the topic at hand was of course the Age of Triumph and what we can expect from this update. As expected the Age of Triumph is a new record book that is focused on the celebration of all your accomplishments in Destiny.
This new record book consists of 13 pages and it has accomplishment for any type of player whether you are an early destiny player, a PVE player, a collector or whether you are more focused on Pvp every activity in the game will have xp contributed to this record book.

You are probably curious what the content is so lets go through the pages one by one. The first page shows the different emblems that you can get as a reward for ranking up, the final reward is the rank 7 package. This package will give you the OPTION to buy an Age of Triumph T-shirt with your Gamertag on it. Let me repeat you get the option to buy it, it is not a Free t-shirt you will have to spend money to receive it.
It will be great if we can get the t-shirt for free but I don’t think that is financially possible, I have created events before where we need t-shirts for and depending on the quality and quantity the prices can vary from $5 - $20 and on top of that there will be shipping fee as well for each single t-shirt. And this for a game that costs between 40 and 60 dollars depending on what time you bought the game it is a big sum of money if the t-shirts are for free.
So I understand it might not be financially possible for them to offer the T-Shirts for free, but I do hope that the shirts are at an acceptable price range , and please ship them globally. Give us europeans and other countries outside of the US some love as well.

So lets move on to the other pages. I will go through them very quickly as most of them are very straight forward.
So we have a page called commemoration to celebrate Day 1 and early players of the game.
There is a page for all the story missions.
And there is a separate page for the Titan , Hunter and Warlocks, where you get xp for things like getting kills with your super or by reaching level 40 etc.
There is a page that celebrate strike activities and a page that is focused on your accomplishments in the crucible.
Similar for the Raids as well
And this is pretty neat, there is a page for avid collectors like, how many ships, sparrows or shaders that you have collected. You get xp’s for collecting exotic weapons and armor and finally you also get points by unlocking grimoire
There is another page called wanderer that rewards you with activities like finding dead ghosts and collecting calcified fragments.
And the final pages are focused on leveling up your allegiances like the 3 factions but also vanguard and iron banner rank as well.
The final page is focused on your achievements in Trials of osiris, which includes a lighthouse visit. I have like most of you never visited the lighthouse, but luckily this does not mean you won’t be able to unlock all the rewards.

According to Bungie you will need to unlock around 40% of the achievements to get to rank 7, which is good news. The reason being is that Bungie wants to celebrate achievements of every guardian, it should not matter whether you are solely a Pvp player or PVE player, or you just like to collect stuff, they want everyone to be able to get all the rewards.
This is a good change as Destiny is already such a grindy game so it is good to hear that these rewards are attainable for every type of player.

Now if you have watched carefully you will have noticed that the Raid section mentioned an achievement where you will need to complete the 390 light version of the Vault of Glass.

YES guardians bungie is bringing back the old Raids! All raids will have a 390 light level version and all raid loot will drop at current light levels, there will be no light level increases the max will stay at 400. So yes that does mean that things like the Fatebringer, Vision of Confluence and Vex Mythoclast is coming to year 3 with their elemental burns. There will also be new armor sets , ornaments, ghosts and sparrows for all raids.

Bungie also mentioned that the grind will be less painful. They bumped up loot drop rates and the raid are tweaked a bit to make it less tedious and more fun.
They mentioned some fixes and changes to Crota’s end and the oracles and pre templar fight has been shortened.

And there will be a weekly raid activity with new challenge modes. We will start on the 28th of March with Crota’s end, followed by Vault of Glass and Week 3 will be the King’s Fall raid.

Overall I like the update. I like the fact that all type of players are rewarded with the record book, it doesnt matter whether you like Pvp or PVE you will still be able to obtain all the rewards.
And It was kind of expected that the old raids are coming back but I expected them to rework these like what they have done with the siva or taken strikes, but I am glad that the old raid are not changed significantly so we can relive the nostalgia of these raids. They did mentioned that there will be some changes and fixes, probably to all the cheeses in Crota’s end but the overall experience should be the same.
Making the experience more enjoyable by lowering the time with the oracles and pre templar fight and increasing the drop rate is very positive.
I was lucky enough to get the fatebringer on my second or third hard mode session, but I also know some guardians that only got it after like 30 tries and maybe I can finally get my hands on the Vex Mythoclast up until today I still havent got one yet.

So overall I feel this is a very positive update, however there is one thing that they did not mention while earning all of the new gear and that is VAULT SPACE.
There is no news on Vault Space, so I dont know how I will be able to keep all the new stuff if there is no space for it.
There are still 2 more live streams coming up so lets keep our fingers crossed that the vault space will be increased.
As usual I will keep you up to date on all the news, so subscribe to stay notified.
