How to get the SuperBlack Shader Festival of the Lost

Hi Swaye here, if you have logged into destiny you will see that the halloween event festival of the lost is back! And this year Bungie has a hidden quest to get you this awesome Super Black Shader. In this video  I will let you know what you need to do to get this awesome looking shader.
First, To Start this quest you will need a Tiny Box of Raisins. People that have kept this from last year’s event can skip the first step of the quest, otherwise you can get this from the beginning quest of Festival of the light from Eva Levante. So pay her a visit and you will be instructed to go around and collect candies from different characters and eventually Eris Morn will then give you a Tiny Box of Raisins.
Take the "Tiny Box of Raisins" to The Speaker. He will let you combine the "Tiny Box of Raisins" and 25 Motes to make "Ascendant Raisins".
Take the "Ascendant Raisins" to Zavala and he will let you trade it for "Salted Sweets".
Take the "Salted Sweets" to Master Rahool (Cryptarch) and he will let you trade it for "Winged Chew".
Speak to Amanda Holiday and she will let you trade them for "Splice Drops".
Afterwards go to Cayde-6 and he will let you trade them for "Unchocolate".
Finally take the "Unchocolate" to Eris Morn and she will give you a "Bag of Treats"
And in this  "Bag of Treats" you will receive your new "Superblack" Shader. Oh yeah you also will get a piece of celery but we dont know yet what you can do with this, maybe this is a mystery to be solved with next years halloween. But until then go enjoy your new shader.

The Titanium Orchid IB Rocket Launcher Review

Hi Swaye here another in-depth Iron Banner weapon review. This time we are going to review the new Iron Banner gear from the Rise of Iron expansion. Previously we have completed the Taken King Iron Banner weapon reviews, see the YouTube card in the right hand corner that should pop up now if you want to have a look at those weapon reviews again.
In the upcoming months I will continue to make reviews on the new Iron Banner weapons so subscribe to stay tuned for that.
We will start our new Iron Banner review serie with the rocket launcher the Titanium Orchid which we will be reviewing  in this video.

You can obtain this from the Iron Banner bounties or you can get this from a rank 5 weapon package from Efrideet when Iron Banner is around. I got mine from a weapon bounty package.

I really like the look of this rocket launcher, the fur and the leather, like with any other Iron Banner weapon, really gives this a unique look.
Also the sound is pretty cool as well.

The perks that I got are
Aggressive launch
Smart Drift Control
Hard Launch
Heavy Payload
Fitted Stock
Lightweight
Flared Magwell
Grenades and Horseshoe
And Tripod

I am really happy with the roll that I got. This is in my opinion the best combination of perks that you can get for this particular rocket launcher.
Aggressive Launch and Heavy payload will max out the Blast Radius, and Flared magwell will help you reload the weapon faster for the next shot and Grenades and horseshoe is a must for any pvp rocket launcher. Ideally you want to have tripod instead of flared magwell so you can keep the pressure on your opponents without the need to reload but unfortunately that is not possible in the perk tree, so flared magwell is the next best thing to help you reload faster.

In general I am very happy with the new perk trees on the Iron Banner weapons. These now offer you a more balanced choice of options. For example the first column is always the same, so you can adjust the rocket launcher based on your preference whether this is Blast Radius, Velocity or better Recoil , the same can be found in the second column.
Honestly you just want to prioritize on Blast Radius,  to make your rocket as lethal as possible upon detonation and then Velocity as you want to deliver the payload as fast as possible to your enemy.
For the third perk tree, the only viable option is Speed reload and Flared magwell, you are guaranteed to have either one of them to increase the reload speed so you are all set there.
As for the last perk tree the most popular choices are Grenades and Horseshoe and Tracking and you will have either one of them which is great. Grenades and horseshoe is considered better for pvp and tracking for pve. Luckily all of the less popular choices like cluster bomb, tripod, clown cartridge and spray and play are now in a separate perk slot.

What bungie tries to achieve with these perk tree is so that you have an higher probability of a useful perk roll when you get one of these dropped.
I can’t tell how many times that I have sharded rocket launchers because it did not had the right combination of perks that I want. First of all you need to be lucky to have one dropped with Grenades and Horseshoe and then you want to have the right perks to max out the blast radius and velocity, which is often not the case. So I am glad with these changes, and hopefully this can ease the grind for everyone to get a good rocket launcher.

And that is also my final verdict that this is at best a mediocre rocket launcher, but in a good way. With the best rolls that you can get like my version of the Titanium Orchid it has a good balance of blast radius and velocity. However there are plenty of other rocket launchers that are better like the Gunsmith JLB 47, The Truth or Gjallarhorn.
But due to the mentioned perk trees you have a good chance that you will have a solid roll on it that will be useable until you find a better Rocket launcher.

Let me know what your thoughts are on this rocket launcher and how you like the changes of the perk trees.

Destiny The Waltz Review "better than Grasp of Malok?"

The Waltz

Hi Swaye here with another in-depth weapon review. Today we are going to review the Vendor Roll Pulse Rifle The Waltz from the Future War Cult.
As usual we will be going through the perks of this vendor roll and afterwards we will compare this with the popular grasp of malok and the similar iron banner Clever Dragon pulse rifle. We will finish the video with my final thoughts!

Lets start with examining the weapon. The description says: A burst-fire weapon, named and sanctified by the Future War Cult's leaders.

The Vendor roll comes with
Red Dot sight
SteadyHand IS
And the OEG scope
Armor Piercing Rounds
Lightweight
Perfect Balance
Eye of the Storm
And Rangefinder

This is a decent roll, I use SteadyHand IS in combination with Perfect balance to minimize the recoil as much as possible. Rangefinder will help you with those long range encounters and Lightweight will make you more mobile and Armor Piercing Rounds is fun for sixes where guardians are grouped up more often so you can hit multiple enemies with the same bullet.

So the Waltz is a new addition to the rare low impact fast firing pulse rifle archetype which is mainly dominated by the Grasp of Malok and to some extent the Praedyth's Timepiece and Oversoul Edict from pre-Taken King.
The only other pulse rifle with the Rise of Iron expansion that fits in this category is The Clever Dragon which can only be acquired from the Iron Banner.
So we will be only comparing these three with each other as the Praedyth's Timepiece and Oversoul Edict can not be infused up to the current light levels.

As you can see the base stats of these guns don’t differ too much there is only 7 points different between the highest and lowest Reload time and Aim Assist values and there is only a 5 point gap when you compare the highest and lowest values between range and stability.

The differences between these guns lies in the perk trees. The Grasp of Malok and the Clever Dragon have more perk options where you can gain stability, range or reload at sacrifice of something else, which allows for interesting options where you can almost max out the stability. Whereas the options for the Waltz are relatively limited.

Having said that, this does mean that it is much harder to get a decent roll on the Grasp of Malok. A God Roll Grasp of Malok is considered to be CounterBalance, with either Perfect Balance or Hand Laid Stock and as for the last perk that is up to your own preference ( i would go for Spray and Play). But the odds on getting Counterbalance with either perfect balance or hand laid stock is very low. Considering the odds on getting counterbalance alone is already 1 out of 11 or 9%, if for argument sake lets say you are lucky with counter balance the odds on you getting perfect balance or hand laid stock in the second perk tree is 2 out of 9 which is 22%, so in the end the odds of you getting the god roll is only 2% which is awfully low.

Coming back to the Waltz the vendor roll comes with Perfect balance straight out of the box! This is really the perk that you want , the other perks are up to your own preference. But Ideally you want to have counterbalance in the last column which is occupied by Rangefinder in the vendor roll. My god roll would be Perfect Balance , Counter Balance and Flared Magwell since I find the current reload speed a bit too slow for me.
So if you compare this with the Grasp of Malok I would recommend you to get the Waltz instead and forget about the painful grind for the grasp. You can easily buy this gun from the vendor and the perks are very decent, it is not the god roll but it is very good.

So I have been using the waltz during Iron Banner and I was surprised how good this gun is, it fires very fast and it is very consistent. The armor piercing rounds perk is really effective in Supremacy where guardians are usually grouped together. I was firing at guardians that were lined up and I managed to get so many double downs with this gun, which was really a blast.
One of the downside of the gun is firing at long ranges where the gun does kick a lot, however on short to medium ranges you shouldnt have a problem with this.
Other than that I find the reload speed a bit too slow, but a pair of pulse rifle reload gauntlets will bring up the speed just enough to be respectable.
So to conclude the Waltz from the Vendor is an amazing gun, it has the right perks to get you going in the crucible. Is it better than the Grasp of Malok, statistically speaking no since the Grasp’s stability can be almost maxed out making that gun a laser beam, whereas the room for stability improvements for the Waltz is more limited.
But if you just want to have a good gun in this archetype and you don’t want to grind for the perfect Grasp of Malok god roll, just buy the Waltz from the Vendor when you have enough marks for it , it is really a good gun, and it won’t let you down.

Let me know what you think of this gun, is it a worthy replacement for the grasp of malok? Let me know in the comments below. I hope you enjoyed this video.   Thanks for Watching, subscribe if you havent done so yet to stay up to date on my latest video and as always I will see you in the next video Guardians.
