Lethe Noblesse

Swaye here with another Challenge of Elder Weapon review. Today we are going to have a look at the Scout Rifle Lethe Noblesse. Please excuse my pronunciation as I am really not sure how this is pronounced.
We are going to have a look at the roll that I got on this scout rifle, and we are going to compare this with other popular scouts. Afterwards I will give you my perk recommendations to make this a beast of a weapon and I will give you my final thoughts on this gun.

You can obtain this gun by playing the challenge of elders.

Let me show you what perks I got on my Lethe Noblesse.
Reflex and the OEG riflescope
Crowd Control
Perfect Balance
Hand Laid Stock
Rifled Barrel
Hidden Hand

Too be honest I could not ask for a better roll, Reflex is my favorite scope, crowd control is great and I have a wide variety to adjust my Range and Stability.
If I want to keep my range I can use perfect balance to improve the stability
Otherwise I can sacrifice range for stability
Or I can increase range at the expense of reload speed , this might come in handy for PVE where you want to keep your distance from bosses or any yellow bar enemies
And in the last column I have Hidden Hand to improve the aim assist, which will help with getting those head shots more often. Dont forget that I also have the Reflex scope which also improves aim assist as well AND I also have stability options to choose from.
Having all of those perks work together means that :
A: This will be a very stabile gun and
B: The Aim Assist bump will help with those crit shots
I have to say I am very lucky with this particular roll!

So enough talk about my roll, how does this perform when you compare this with other popular Mid-impact scout rifles like the Hung Jury , Treads Upon Stars or the Suros Dis 43?
The strengths of this gun are the relatively high range  and reload time, but too be honest all of these guns dont differ that much from one another in terms of stats. It is not the case that if you have a Suros Dis 43 that you are at a disadvantage when you compare it with for example a Hung Jury because the stability and reload speed are higher on that gun.
What makes these guns differ from each other are the perk columns.

The Lethe Noblesse and Treads upon Stars for example shares the 1-3-1 columns
While the Hung Jury and Tuonela SR4 shares the 1-2-2 columns
And for example the Suros DIS 43 has a 2-1-2 structure

And each of them has unique perks, the 2-1-2 structure from the Suros for example is the only perk structure that has full auto and you can have double range or stability perks, technically speaking the others can run Zen moment but you will need to cause damage to have that activated, I am only talking about inherent perks that permanent improvements to a gun.
On the other hand it is not possible to roll firefly with this Suros gun.

So you should do your research first if you have specific perks in mind that you want on a scout rifle.
So talking about perks what will you be looking for?
Withe the Lethe Noblesse you will want to be looking for perks that makes you as deadly as possible from a medium to long range.
For the first column you will be looking for Zen moment to increase your accuracy while doing damage or Crowd control to get a bonus damage after a kill.
For the middle column you want stability perks as you will be operating from medium to long ranges. You will be looking for perks like:
Perfect balance
Injection Mold and
Handlaid stock
And for the last column I can recommend:
Third eye, so you wont be flanked when you are scoping in.
Hidden hand to help you hit those crit shots
And reactive reload so you get a bonus damage when you reload after a kill

I can recommend you two Perk builds
Build number 1, I call this one the MarksMan Build which revolves around you being an patient and accurate sharpshooter that keeps it distance with the enemies. This build is solely focused on helping you to get your shots landed and you will have perks like Zen Moment , Injection Mold and Hidden Hand.  Which all work in hand together to land your shots, Injection Mold will increase the stability of the gun, while Hidden Hand will help you land the crit shots and Zen moment let you continue to be even more accurate when you damage an enemy.

Build Number 2, this one is the opposite. This build is for the slayer among us who is hunting the enemy down and constantly looking for the next opponent. I call this build the RAMBO Build.
The Perks you will be looking for this Rambo Build is Crowd Control, High Caliber Rounds and Reactive Reload. Crowd control and Reactive Reload works very good together as both give you a damage bonus after a kill, so it will help you with your kill streak and High Caliber Rounds will stagger the target which make it harder for them to target you down.
This roll will be more for the advanced players as you wont have any stability perks to help you with your accuracy.
Personally I really like my roll with Crowd Control, Hand laid stock and Hidden Hand. With this current setup I can be as accurate as possible over medium to long range and challenge snipers or anyone that is out in the open. This is a great Pvp weapon for maps like shores of time where there are long sightlines.
I combine this with a shotgun or fusion rifle to cover my short range. I really like the mid-impact archetype, I think it has a good combination of impact and rate of fire. Somehow the high impact scouts like the colovance duty or the jade rabbit does not feel good in my hands, I feel that they are heavy and slow for my playstyle.
So yeah I really like this gun and this particular roll. Is it that good that you want to grind for it? Well probably not as I mentioned before all of the mid impact scouts are very viable it really depends on the perks that you have. When you get one dropped take a look at it , do not forget about the Marks Man and Rambo perk combos if you get one of those dropped let me know in the comments below and share your experience with us.

Thats it for today, I hope you enjoyed this video. Thanks for Watching, subscribe if you havent done so yet to stay up to date on my latest video and as always I will see you later Guardians.

Her Revenge

Swaye here with another video. We are getting closer on reviewing all the Challenge of Elders weapons, if you missed some videos do have a look at my channel where you can find the reviews of all the Challenge of Elders weapons so far. Today we are going to talk about the Challenge of Elders Hand Cannon the Her Revenge!
I will give you an overview of my roll on the Her Revenge, afterwards we are going to compare this gun with other hand cannons in the game and I will give you my recommendations on the perks that you want for this Hand cannon. Lastly I will give you my final thoughts on this gun.

As with all the Challenge of Elders guns you can obtain Her Revenge by playing the Challenge of Elders activity and Variks may reward you with this Hand Cannon.

My Her Revenge comes with the following perks:
QuickDraw IS
SureSight IS
Relentless Tracker
Hand Loaded
Reinforced Barrel
Feather Mag
Life Support

This is a decent roll, I would prefer to have Range Finder instead of relentless tracker so I can be more lethal on longer ranges. Hand Loaded is great so I wont need to sacrifice any stat for that range bump and life support is also a good perk as you will probably be going against autorifles and take damage while you are in a fire fight and Life support can help you recover quicker.

This gun falls into the mid impact hand cannons archetype together with the Eyasluna, Imago Loop and the Iron Banner Finnala’s Peril. The strength of the Her Revenge is the high Aim Assist of 75 , the stability is in the middle of the pack, and the Range and Reload time are what makes this particular gun weak when you compare this with other guns in the same archetype..
Cosmetically speaking this is the only one that can benefit from the Chroma Glow, so if you want to look good in crucible you might want to consider the Her Revenge over the other hand cannons.
For the Fatebringer enthusiast this gun can not be rolled with Firefly, so for your Fatebringer replacement you will be looking for the Imago Loop, the Vanity from Future War Cult, Aces of Spades, or the less popular guns like Uffern HC4 or Down and Doubt which can all be rolled with Firefly. But obviously you should get the Imago Loop with at least FireFly that is in my opinion the only year 2 fatebringer replacement.

So what are the perks you will be looking for? I recommend to improve the weaknesses of the gun which is range. Luckily you have a lot of options to improve range, you can do this with Rangefinder, Rifled Barrel, Hand Loaded, hammer forged, reinforced barrel or smallbore. Outlaw and Spray and Play will help out with the poor reload speed, or you can use any hand cannon reload gauntless to improve that.
I already mentioned the benefit of Life Support, as you will be fighting with other medium to short range weapons like autorifles or pulse rifles and life support can help you recover quicker from a kill.
You can also focus on improving the strength of this gun which is the Aim Assist, by looking for  hidden hand to bump that Aim Assist value up even more.

So how does the gun feel. Well the gun feels very good, it does lack in range but if you keep the engagement on Medium range you will notice that this gun can be very effective. But as with any hand cannon you will need to be accurate with your shots otherwise you will significantly increase the time to kill. So if you are a patient and accurate player .. this might be the gun for you.
Personally any of the mentioned hand cannons in the same archetype are all viable options, the stats might be differ a bit , but its really the perks that makes or breaks a gun and the same is true for these hand cannons. If you like this mid impact archetype then let the perk rolls guide your choice, I personally prefer to use my Finalla’s Peril with Range Finder , reinforced barrel and grenadier. This is my favorite hand cannon because it feels consistent and snappy, check out my review on the Finnala’s peril, I will put a link in the description and I will add an info card on the right corner that should pop up now.
Again if you get one dropped look at the perks, and try it out if you have decent perks.

Those are my honest thoughts of the gun, let me know what you think … do you agree or disagree with me, put it in the comments below and lets have good discussion.
I hope you enjoyed this video.   Thanks for Watching, subscribe if you havent done so yet to stay up to date on my latest video and as always I will see you later Guardians.
