Top 3 Best Iron Banner Weapons

Hi guardians, today I am going to present you my personal top 3 weapons from Iron Banner that I use for Pvp.
If you want to know more about each specific Iron Banner weapon, then go have a look my in-depth weapon review videos that I have for each gun. You can find a link in the description below or tap the right hand corner to see the youtube card that will link you to those videos.

So without further ado let's have a look at the top 3!

In the number 3 spot we have the Iron Banner Auto rifle the Forward Path. This is gun is so much fun to use, although it does not sit in the competitive 450 rpm archetype this 600 rpm auto rifle can still do great work.
The range is a bit lacking but the handling of this gun makes up for the loss in range. This is just a butter smooth gun, the handling is great and the reload is surprisingly fast and it also has 43 rounds in the mag which means you have plenty of rounds to tackle multiple enemies, and couple this with armor piercing rounds which overpenetrate targets and you have a great gun which occasionally can hit multiple targets, so this is great for game modes where guardians tend to clump up together like control or supremacy.
If it was not for the dominant 450 rpm auto rifles, this gun would have ranked higher in the top 3. But unless the current meta is changed this gun will have a comfortable number 3 spot.

In the number 2 spot we have the Submachine gun the Hero's Burden, this is a fantastic smg and is one of  the best 900 rpm smg in the game. It has everything you want for a good SMG, it has a very high range stat and reload speed, and also an above average stability and Handling. So straight out of the box The hero's burden already has great stats to begin with but this only gets better when you have a look at the perks. It has two amazing perks that makes this gun so good, first of all it has high caliber rounds which is a top tier perk for any gun, on top of that it also has threat detector which will bump up the already good stability , handling and reload speed when your enemies are nearby. As this is an SMG you will be operating on the short range and as a result this perk will proc most of the time when you need to use this gun, giving you a slight advantage that will make or break a gun fight.
So this is a great weapon and make sure to keep this gun when you get one dropped.

In the number one spot we have the Time-Worn Spire pulse rifle. This is hands down my favorite pulse rifle in the game, this gun has the rapid fire frame and it sits in the fast firing 540 rpm pulse rifle archetype.
This gun reminds me of the dominating Destiny 1 Pulse Rifle the Clever Dragon. Sure it is in no way as good as the old skool Clever Dragon but it is still a very solid gun.
The gun is very well rounded and the shots are surprisingly effective on a long lange. Having the highest aim assist of any pulse rifle will definitely help with this , and couple this with zen moment and you have a dead accurate pulse rifle.
If you have a hunter with two counter balance mods on it and you sir have a laser beam of a pulse rifle.
This gun is so consistent and I have mentioned it before in my in-depth review this is without a doubt the best pulse rifle in the game. If somehow bungie decided to bring down the dominant 450 rpm auto rifles than this gun will rise to the top of the meta and thus this is the best Iron Banner weapon and it is ranked as the number 1 in my top 3.
If you want to know more about this gun have a look at my in-depth review video.

Thank you so much for watching this video. The Number FWC Auto Rifle In-Depth Review!

The Number is the fantastic auto rifle from the Future War Cult that sits in the energy weapon slot. This auto rifle is similar to the Origin Story and Uriel's Gift which all belong to the 450 rounds per minute auto rifle archetype which are currently dominating in the current meta.

Before we talk about the performance let's have a look at the perks.
The Number has the
precision Frame
Candle PS
And the Flash HS5 sights
Extended Mag
Ricochet Rounds and
High-impact reserves, where the bottom part of the mag deals more damage

I like to use the Flash Sight and Ricochet rounds to max out the range, which is such an important stat for auto rifles.
If you have used an Origin Story or Uriel's Gift before you will feel very familiar with this gun, it has very similar stats and they behave similar as well because they all belong to the same 450 rounds per minute archetype and all have the precision frame.
This auto rifle archetype is very present in the crucible and used by all top players because they are very consistent in their performance. These guns are relatively stable over the max range of auto rifles and overall just very easy to use.
And the number is the same, it is surprisingly stable and I have no problem controlling the predictable recoil of the gun over a pretty long range.

This is just a great workhorse for any situation whether you take it to the crucible or to pve, it just does its job well which is pumping damage into the enemy in a consistent manner.
It has enough bullets to engage in pvp against multiple enemies and you can increase this as well with extended mag, although I would only recommend extended mag for PVE.
For Pvp you really want to increase the consistency of this gun with Ricochet rounds.
The final perk high-impact reserves is not the best perk to have , in Pvp and Pve the increase in damage is almost not noticeable at all. It jumps only a couple of damage points up when you reach the final bullet in the mag. So don't rely on this to increase your DPS.

So will the number replace your Origin Story or Uriel's gift, that really depends on what you value the most.
I prefer the Origin Story for PVE because it is so easy to proc the rampage perk because of the vast amount of adds in PVE. For PVP I usually use Uriel's Gift because of High Caliber Rounds, but I want to start using a different weapon and that is where the Number comes into play.
Depending on how much you value high caliber rounds, the Number is actually a really good replacement for the Uriel's Gift. Sure High Caliber Rounds is the most popular perk in the Crucible, but that does not mean that the Number is not a potent weapon to use.
Personally I will use the number more often now  because I just want to use a different gun other than the Uriel's Gift in my energy slot.
The number is a great weapon and it has everything you need in an auto rifle, it has good stability and good range and it packs a punch, what do you want more!?

Because this gun is such a good workhorse in both Pve and PVP, I am going to give the Number a B.

Thank you so much for watch this video. If you enjoyed this, have a look at my origin story an Uriel's gift review videos I am sure you will like it.

Stochastic Variable FWC SMG In-Depth Review! Mini Antiope-D & Uriel's Gift 2 in 1 Gun!

Stochastic Variable FWC SMG In-Depth Review

The Stochastic Variable is the future war cult sub machine gun that you can earn by pledging to future war cult in the current faction rally event of november 2017.
Personally I have three characters all pledge to a specific faction, my titan is pledged to dead orbit , my warlock to new monarchy and my hunter is pledged to future war cult.
I am very impressed with the weapons from future war cult, all of the weapons are great, the hand cannon is interesting with the delayed explosive rounds, the scout is like a legendary version of the mida, the dragonfly pulse rifle which I made a video about is great, the number is a great auto rifle, the sidearm in itself is actually ok but unfortunately it is overshadowed by the better suros and omolon sidearms.
So yeah I am very impressed with the weapons from future war cult so far and when this smg dropped I could not wait to make a video about it.

So let start with the perks of this smg.
It has the lightweight frame
Candle PS
Torch HS3 sights
High Caliber Rounds
Accurized Rounds
Phase Magazine
And Tap the trigger

This is the most versatile smg in the game. Due to Phase Mag you can actually change the archetype from 900 rounds per minute to the antiope-d archetype which is 600 rounds per minute. It will not out range the Antiope-d in the 600 rpm mode but it has solid range when you use the Torch sight.
Or you can stick with the 900 rounds per minute archetype and use high caliber rounds and you will have a mini Uriel's Gift.

I like to use the the antiope-d set up and couple this with a medium to long range weapon like auto rifles or scouts, and I switch back to high caliber rounds for close quarter maps or when  I use a hand cannon or pulse or auto rifle.
This is a smg so stick to the short to medium range, but be careful on the short range you will still be melted by the Last Hope, and don't get into the auto rifle range neither where you will be picked off by auto rifles which has less damage fall off.
So it is a fine line to balance in terms of range, but that is what makes this game so much fun every gun has their optimal range.
The fact that this is a energy weapon means that you will be able to shred roaming supers, when they come close to you.
This is just a very versatile weapon.
In Pve I like to use the Mini Uriels Gift set up with High Caliber Rounds, this is where the superb handling of the Stochastic Variable shines. Not only does it shred adds in no time, you can quickly move around and continue to clear adds with minimum downtime.

Overall the Stochastic Variable is a very versatile SMG, you basically have a lesser version of the Antiope-D and a mini Uriel's Gift at all times, and you can easily switch between them depending on the maps.
I am going to this gun a B.

Thank you so much for watching, this weapon was really fun to test, especially because it has the two firing modes. As a result it did take a long time to test it out, but it was fun to use this gun and I am glad that we now have a solid review video for you all.

Heart of Time FWC Pulse Rifle In-Depth Review! Best Pulse Rifle?

The Heart of Time FWC Pulse Rifle In-Depth Review

Hi guardians, today we are going to review a unique weapon the future war cult pulse rifle the heart of time. This is the pulse rifle that could have been sold during the first faction rally, but as you all know dead orbit has won that time so we did not manage to get that weapon. With the second faction rally happening now this weapon came back in the weapon pool of future war cult and I was lucky enough to get one drop for me.

I was very excited about this weapon because this is one of the few fast firing legendary pulse rifles in the game, and on top of that this is also one of the few weapons that has dragon fly which is essentially the firefly from destiny 1. This is the perk that causes a small explosion when you hit a precision kill, which is very useful for crowd control in pve.

The heart of time sits in the 540 rounds per minute archetype like the Iron Banner The Time Worn spire and the Lincoln Green.
It has the Rapid Fire Frame,
Candle PS and the
Impulse MS3 sights
Steady Rounds
Tactical Mag
And Dragonfly
I like to use the Candle scope which is nice and clean, and tactical mag because without it I find the reload speed a bit too slow for this gun.

So how does this gun performs in PvP. Well it is a very fun gun to use, it really feels like playing with the Clever Dragon back from Destiny 1. For those who are not familiar with it the Clever Dragon was for a time dominating in destiny 1 until they nerfed it. But this gun is in no way as powerful as the clever dragon back in Vanilla Destiny, it's great on the medium range but if you go a bit further than that then the damage fall off is very noticeable and you will not be able to compete with auto rifles or scouts.
I like to use this gun on small to medium maps and I like to pair it up with the Sondok-C submachine gun in my kinetic slot, because I am still not lucky enough to get an Antiope-d drop for me. For those who dont know it the Sondok-C is basically the blue version of the Antiope-D, I made a video about this you can find the link in the description below or in the right hand corner as a youtube card.
The submachine gun in my kinetic will cover the short range, and the heart of time will do its job in the medium range, and as mentioned before stay out of the long range you won't be able to compete with scouts and auto rifles.
The gun does bounce a bit but it is totally manageable, if you want you can use counterbalance mod to improve that a bit. I did just fine without it though.
I do find the reload speed a bit too slow for me, most of the time when I run out of bullets I will just switch to my kinetic weapon instead of reloading because the reload time is so slow. You will find very often that you will need to disengage and find a safe spot where you have time to reload all the weapons again. And this can really slow your pace when you are on a good killing spree, so you just have to be cautious with that.

The final perk dragonfly will not be that useful in Pvp, sometimes it does it work well when guardians are clumped up together but that is very rare. You will find better use with this in Pve where ads are more often clumped up together, especially in public events.
The weakness of the fast firing pulses in PVE is very noticeable in their damage output, the dps is lower than the popular auto rifles and the damage fall off can be quite drastic when you pass the medium range. This is a bit evened out with the usefulness of the Dragonfly perk, which will up the value of this gun in PVE.

So having said all of this the heart of time is a very solid gun for both Pvp and PVe. However at this time of the video I really need to compare this gun with the Iron Banner Pulse rifle the Time Worn spire. And when you put them together you will see that The Time-worn spire is better than the heart of time in all aspects. The range, stability, reload, and aim assist are all better than the heart of time. Don't get me wrong the Heart of Time is still a very good pulse rifle, however I do need to address the differences in order to make these reviews as objective as possible. If you want to know more about the time-worn spire have a look at my in-depth weapon review video.
So the heart of time is a very solid gun , but unfortunately it does lack a bit when you compare it with the time-worn spire and thus I am going to give this future war cult pulse rifle a solid B.

Thank you so much for watching this video, I really had a great time testing this gun in pvp and pve, the fast firing pulse rifles are really a good change from using auto rifles instead. I highly recommend you to try out this gun it is really fun.
Let me know which gun you want me to review next in the comments below.

Older Sister III New Monarchy Hand Cannon In-Depth Review! Better than the Better Devils?!?

Older Sister III New Monarchy Hand Cannon In-Depth Review

Hi Guardians, today we are going to review the most beautiful hand cannon in destiny the Older Sister 3.  This is the New Monarchy Hand Cannon and it looks absolutely beautiful, I like the paint job and it is the hands down the best looking hand cannon out there.
As I mentioned before this is from New Monarchy so rank up this faction in order to have a chance on getting this one dropped.

The Older sister sits in the same archetype as the Better Devils and the stats are pretty similar as well. The better devils sits in the kinetic slot , whereas the Older Sister sits in the Energy weapon slot.
As for perks the Older Sister has the adaptive frame
The hitmark, steady hand and cross fire sights
Alloy magazine
Armor piercing rounds
And Ambitious assasin
I like to use hitmark and armor piercing rounds on this gun.

The gun feels very solid in Pvp, if you like the better devils hand cannon than you will like this gun as well, because they are both so similar this gun might as well be the older sister of the better devils but then without explosive rounds.
Because it does not have explosive rounds you will suffer much more of a damage fall off than the better devils. But if you want to use a hand cannon in the energy slot and for some reason you dont want to use the better devils in the kinetic slot then this is a good replacement , you can then combine the Older Sister with for example the Antiope-D, Mida or the Origin Story with will make it a solid combo for Pvp.

In Pve the ambitious assassin perk really comes to play, this perk will give you extra bullets when you reload based on the number of rapid kills. I sometimes got a mag up to 15 bullets whereas the normal mag size is 11. This is really a great passive perk that helps you in the background so you can just focus on slaying enemies.
But also here the Better Devils will be your better choice in terms of a hand cannon, explosive rounds is just really such a good perk that it is a hard to pass on, but this gun definitely comes in the number two spot in terms of the PVE utility that it has compared with other more generic hand cannons.
Other than that it suffers from the same ammo problems like you have with any other hand cannon in PVE. There is just no way around it.

To conclude, the Older Sister is actually a really good hand cannon , it is reliable and consistent and the ambitious assassin perk is very useful in PVE. I really hate to say this but despite how good this gun is ,  it does live in the shadow of the better devils, if you compare the two the better devils is just a better choice for both Pvp and Pve. If you don't have a better devils yet then this should be your go to hand cannon and If you have one but you just want to use a different kinetic weapon in that case the Older Sister is a good replacement.
Don't get me wrong this gun is good, but it is just outshined by the better devils and thus I am going to give the Older Sister a B.

Thank you so much for watching this video, if you want this weapon don't forget to utilize the faction token farm video that I posted recently. This is currently the fastest way to get all the faction weapons and armor.

Enigma's Draw FWC Sidearm Review

The faction rally is once again upon us and I managed to get the Future War Cult Side Arm the Enigma's Draw.
A lot of Destiny 1 players will be very excited about this sidearm because it has exactly the same perks as the god roll worm wood side arm also from the Future War Cult back in Destiny 1.

So you can get this sidearm by ranking up Future War Cult and lets go over the perks.
It has precision frame, making the recoil more vertical.
Control,
Tactic
And
Target SAS
High Caliber Rounds
Accurized Ballistics
And Zen Moment

This gun is very stable and it is very easy to hit your shots thanks to the precision frame and zen moment which will increase the stability when you cause damage with this weapon. I like to use Control SAS for a more balanced setup , and of course high caliber rounds which is arguable the most popular perk to have on any gun.

In PVE this performs ok, it is a sidearm so naturally you want to use this on the short to medium range. However the damage output is rather low and I find myself running out of ammo pretty quickly because you need to pump out so many shots in order to put out some damage.
In PVE you are much better off with medium to long range weapons like an auto rifle or scout, the Enigma's Draw  is useable and it is fun for public events but if you are going for the more serious PVE activities like the raid or nightfall then stay away from this sidearm you are much better off with a scout or autorifle.

In Pvp the Enigma's Draw is not as strong as the Wormwood back in Destiny 1. In order to be competitive with this gun you will need to hit all 5 of your headshots in order to have a time to kill of 0.93 seconds and this number will go down drastically to 1.4 seconds if you only hit bodyshots. So it is a very punishing weapon if you dont hit your crits. I did not manage to do well with this gun, most of the time I get mowed down by SMG's before I can finish the kill. Actually all of the SMG's have a better body shot to kill time than the Enigma's draw.
You are much better off with the popular Omolon or Suros sidearms. The Burst weapons from Omolon are easy to use and the Last Hope is still in my opinion the best Sidearm in the game, if your aim is not that accurate then you might want to try out the Suros sidearm they are full auto so you can just focus on your aim.
Both the Omolon and Suros weapons have a better body shot to kill time , and the optimum time to kill is either the same or faster, so there is really no reason to use the Enigma's Draw.

I was very excited about this gun because based on the perks it is essentially the Destiny 1 wormwood which was so dominant in the crucible. Unfortunately in Destiny 2 this gun is outmatched by SMG's and all the Suros and Omolon Sidearms.
In PVE there is really no need to use a sidearm, in all PVE activities you are far better off with an auto rifle or scout. And if you do use a sidearm you will find yourself out of ammo very often.
Due to this gun being lackluster in both Pvp and PVE, I am going to give the Enigma's Draw a D.

Thank you so much for watching, let me know in the comments below which faction weapon you want me to review next.

How to get the blue ANTIOPE-D! AKA the Sondok-C SMG In-Depth Review!

Welcome Guardians, this is the YouTube Channel for all things Destiny! This channel aims to provide you news, gameplay and tips & tricks for Destiny. Join and Subscribe for more videos!

How to get the Blue Antiope-D! AKA the Sondok-C SMG!

The Antiope-D is arguable the best SMG in the game right now and it has a lot of praise by top pvp players.
However I am still not lucky enough  to get one dropped for me and but I did managed to get a blue version of the Antiope-D which is exactly the same in terms of perks and stats.

So which gun am I talking about? It is the Sondok-C, lucky enough for everyone that is looking for the antiope-d, this is a guaranteed drop by doing the Exodus Siege adventure on Nessus. So you don't have to rely on RNG you can just get one now by doing that mission and it only takes like 5 minutes to finish the mission and you will be rewarded with the Blue version of the Antiope-D.

So as you can see it has the same perks as the Antiope-D, it has the
Precision Frame
GB Iron
And SC Holo Sights
Ricochet Rounds,
Tactical Mag
And Kill Clip.

I have been testing both the Iron and the Holo sights and you definitely want to go for the Holo sights which will push this gun to max range while still having a manageable recoil when you select ricochet rounds which also helps with range as well.
And kill clip gives you increased damage after a kill and this will artificially increase your range as well since you will suffer less from damage fall off due to that increase in damage.

So as you can see from the perks the strength of this gun is the range. Normally SMG's are optimal on the short range but with all the range increasing perks this gun can compete head on with auto rifles. It won't be as easy to handle this gun on auto rifle range but knowing that you can deal damage in that range can help you save precious seconds without the need to switch weapons to for example your auto rifle or scout.

The 600 rounds per minute SMG's, like the Sondok-C ,are in a very good spot at the moment where the combination of the rate of fire and the damage output makes it the deadliest Submachine gun archetype. And the Sondok-C and the Antiope-D are particularly effective because of the high range stat.
In the short range this gun absolutely shreds enemies, the gun is very stable and consistent and I actually like to hip fire on the short range because the hit registration is that good. If I need to hit a bit further away then I scope in to be a bit more accurate with my shots.
But yeah on the short range hip firing is surprisingly effective.

I like to pair up the Sondok-C with the Uriel's Gift or the Future war cult scout the pleiades Corrector in my energy slot so I have all ranges covered.

The Sondok-C is definitely one of the best SMG's that you can have now at the moment, and I can not wait to have an Antiope-D dropped so I can compare these guns together.
Because the Sondok-C and thus also the Antiope-D is so dominating in the SMG category and the fact that the range is so high that it can compete with auto rifles I am going to give the Sondok-C an A.

For those who are still looking for an Antiope-D you might as well just get the Sondok-C, this is a guaranteed drop from the Exodus Siege mission on Nessus, and this is basically the blue version of the Antiope-D.
For those who have the Antiope-D let me know in the comments below how this is compared with the Sondok-C!
Thank you so much for watching this video, wish me luck on my Antiope-D drop I still need one to add it to my gun collection.
