Swaye here with a Destiny Video! Usually I don’t do Xur video’s but today is just a special day and I want to inform my community that Xur has some amazing stuff today that you need to buy!

Lets see Xur’s inventory, as you can see he is selling the amazing Twilight Garrison, The Ram and the HawkMoon, also he is selling a legacy heavy weapon engram, so if you do not have a Gjallahorn yet, you might want to try out your luck with this.

Lets talk about the Twilight Garrison. The exotic perk is “Tactical Air Support” which grants you an evade maneuver when you are in the air. This is amazing for a titan and this will increase your mobility a lot especially when you are playing as a Striker. First of all you have titan skating with the “increased control” jump and you have the Shoulder Charge to make you move around the map super fast. If you are not using this technique yet I strongly recommend you to check out the TiTan Skating tutorial video from Sliq, I will link his video in the description below or see the InfoCard that will link you to his video as well in the right hand corner.

So the Twilight Garrison will boost your mobility even more by adding an evade maneuver when you are in mid air. This is very useful in pvp where guardians won’t expect you to dodge while you are in mid air, with trials you can disorientate your enemies while your teammates can then pick up a kill. The Twilight Garrison will also make it possible for you to dodge rockets, which is insane! And it can also help you to run away from a fight and save your life if you make full use of your mobility.

I am going to buy this and play around with this!

The second must buy this week is the Ram, the exotic perk gives you increased armour and all voidwalker melees triggers Life Steal on hits. Basically you can maxed out your armour stat with the Ram, in previous tests that has been performed you could survive a Bladedancer Flux grenade, Defender Magnetic grenade, Gunslingers/Sunbreakers incendiary grenade and a Shoulder charge from a Striker Titan. Also you can survive more shots from different weapons, For more information see an Article made by planet destiny, I will put a link in the description below to the article.

With the buff on Voidwalkers you will definitely see more of Ram Voidwalkers in the crucible now!

If you haven’t got it yet, you can now buy the Hawkmoon! It accuracy was nerfed before but with the latest April update they have buffed this again, and the gun still performs very well. If you enjoy using hand cannons you will love this gun. With the exotic perk it means that 3 rounds have an increased damage which will make it possible to 2-shot a guardian!

I recommend to use either accurized ballistics or Field choke in combination with Hammer Forged to increase the range. The damage fall off for hand cannons is very steep so you will want to keep the range as high as possible for hand cannons.

And last but not least Xur is selling an Legacy Heavy weapon, so if you have not got a gjallarhorn yet you might want to bet your RNG on it.

Swaye here with a Destiny video! Today we are going to talk about the new high impact exotic Sniper rifle the Zen Meteor and compare this with the famous Black Spindle.

I was lucky enough to have some spare Special Exotics in my vault which I saved for the April Update and Rahool was so friendly to decrypt the Zen Meteor for me!

First of all how can you obtain the Zen Meteor? Well unlike the Black Spindle which is only attainable by the completing a special side mission when the Lost To Light daily mission is active, the Zen Meteor can be obtained by completing any activities that has a chance to reward an exotic item like raids, nightfalls and Trials. Most likely you will get this by decrypting Special Exotic Engrams like me.

Lets take a closer look at the Zen Meteor, the description says: Complete awareness, complete focus. A mind sharpened by diligence to a single deadly point.

The signature perk is Dynamite where the gun gains an extra higher damaged round when you rapidly kills with every round in the clip.

This sniper comes with CQB ballistics, soft ballistics and smart drift control.

Underdog: This weapon gains a boost to range and handling when health is low

Fitted stock to increase the stability

Field Scout which lets you spawn with 12 rounds

Injection mold, increased stability at expense of range

With a Laser beam, the extra round from Dynamite causes a massive explosian

I recommend to use Smart Drift Control to up the stability because you will notice that this gun will kick a lot and Field Scout which will let you spawn with 12 rounds, this is especially useful in Pvp where special ammo is scarce nowadays.

When using the Zen Meteor you  want to take your time with your shots so you can utilize the Dynamite round which is 3 times as effective a normal round. See my testing in the cosmodrone where I crit a dreg with 1657 , and later the Dynamite round crits at 4971 which is exactly a multiplier of 3.

Now lets have a look at Black Spindle

It comes with Smooth ballistics, Field Choke and CQB Ballistics.

The signature perk white nail which will refill the magazine when you rapidly land three precision shots.

Snapshot aiming this weapon is incredibly fast

Flared Magwell, to increase the reload of this weapon

Perfect Balance, this weapon has extremely low recoil

And Mulligun , missing a shot has a chance to return the ammo.

I recommend to use Field Choke and perfect balance. This weapon relies on you to hit those precision shots and get those endless shots without reloading and perfect balance will help you with that by lowering the recoil and Field Choke makes sure that you put out as much dps as possible.

Lets now put these snipers together and compare the base stats. You will notice that the rate of fire is higher for the Zen meteor and the impact are the same. Range and reload speed are quite similar and the Black Spindle has a bit more stability.

Although the impact shows the same stat the actual damage numbers are different for these guns. To test this I have both guns at light attack level 320 on the same character. Lets look at the damage numbers... the Black Spindle crits at around 24 thousand and when we use the Zen Meteor with the same light attack level we see that it crits at almost 18 thousand.

Pure DPS wise per bullet the Black Spindle will still be king.

So does that ends the comparison now? No , even though both snipers are both in the high impact category both excel in different situations.

Black Spindle will be very useful for situation where you can constantly damage a boss over time. For example The Warpriest and Golgoroth encounters are perfect for Black Spindle where you have a limited amount of time to put as much damage into the boss as possible and the Black Spindle White Nail perk makes that happen so you can shoot without ever reloading the gun, provided you hit precision shots.

The Zen Meteor even though it does not hit as hard as Black Spindle excels in situations where you have a lot of enemies. The Dynamite Round if used correctly can wipe out a group of enemies if they are grouped together, see it as one ULTRA firefly perk. However you do need to hit all  of  your 3 shots  in your magazine for it to proc though. This weapon is great as a supporter role in raids, strikes or nightfall where the other team mates can be on the frontline and you can hang in the back which allows you to focus on proccing the Dynamite round to help your teammates.

But all in all I would say that the Zen Meteor is very situational, I found myself needing to slow down my pace so I would be able to proc the Dynamite round. Also I found the 5 second limit on the Dynamite round not enough in most of the situations. I found myself looking for a target to use my precious dynamite round on and once I found it the 5 seconds has already passed.

I really hope they would buff the time limit to around 8 seconds, which will give the player enough time to find the target they want to use this Dynamite round on.

In the end, The Black Spindle will still be King in PVE, as for PvP we might see more of Zen Meteor due to the fact that for one it has the highest Aim assist of 80 topping Weyloran March aim assistance of 79 and the Field Scout Perk lets you spawn with 12 Special Ammo rounds at the beginning of the match. This will be super useful in competitive matches like Trials of Osiris.

Swaye here with a Destiny Video! Today we are going to talk about the Future War Cult Exclusive Faction Ship The Road Unraveled. The Description says “Take out the stitches. Start over” , I am not sure what that description means but that does not matter because this ship is a beauty.

You can obtain this ship by levelling up the future war cult faction, I got mine dropped at level 25 where I also received the exotic class item quest the Champion of the Cult questline. I will have a video up for that so stay tuned for it.

What is the best way to level up your faction, first of all make sure to have a future war cult class item at all times when you play to maximize the rep you get from bounties and other game activities. Secondly you can rank up by donating materials, I like to donate heavy ammo synths, weapon and armor materials, motes of lights and worm spore when this is around.

By leveling up your ship drop will eventually come and once you have received this ship, it will be part of your ship collection which means that you can pick up this ship anytime at the Ship Booth, and this also applies to your other characters! So each character can enjoy this ship at the same time!

Another thing to help you with leveling up the factions is to get the exotic class item which will increase the faction rep. See my Exotic Class item video for an indepth guide on how to get this.

Swaye here with a Destiny Video! Today we are going to talk about how to get the exotic class items. I will be mainly talking about the Future war cult exotic cloak, but the objectives are the same whether you are a warlock or titan and whether you are a supporter of Dead Orbit or New Monarchy.

When you level up your Faction to rank 25 you will receive an exotic class item questline for your faction.

Each of these exotic class item quests have the following four objectives that must be completed

• Kill 500 minions of the darkness
• Complete 10 Heroic Strikes
• Kill 250 Guardians in the Crucible
• Win 10 Crucible matches

All of these has to be done while wearing the specific Faction Shader, Emblem and Class Armor. Once you are done you have to talk to you Faction Vendor to obtain your Exotic Class Item.

How To Farm STERLING TREASURE!

Swaye here with a Destiny Video! Today we are going to talk about how to Farm the sterling treasures so you can get a complete set of Taken Desolate armour as soon as possible and also to get a chance to get the taken ship!

Firstly, With the desolate armour Be aware that the taken look, will not kick in until all pieces of the armour set are collected and equipped. Not only will you have activated the Taken look when all pieces of desolate set are collected for a class , you will also unlock the taken “shiver” emote. Which looks pretty bad ass

So the Desolate armor can be obtained from Sterling Chests. But you will also have a chance to get Taken class items, Boosters for vanguard, crucible or house of judgement, taken ships, shaders and chroma.

OK so how do you farm these sterling treasures? Well firstly you will be guaranteed at least one sterling treasure every week simply by visiting your postmaster!

And you can also get the sterling treasure chest by completing the Level 41 Prison of Elders mode and the weekly Crucible activity.

So this means you can farm up to 3 sterling treasures a week!  Given you will need to have a helmet , gauntlet , chest and boots to complete a set, so with a bit of RNG luck you will only need two weeks to get that cool Taken look.

And If you are missing one piece of armour you can also just simply buy Sterling Treasures with silver from the Eververse trading company!

Swaye here with a Destiny Video! Today we are going to talk about year 1 exotics that are coming to the Taken King april update!

Lets start with the exotic year 1 armour that will be moving to year 2.

We have the Glasshouse helmet which will make the blessing of light and weapons last longer.

The Eternal warrior for the striker which will grant you the Unstoppable per for free.

The ATS 8 Arachnid for the hunter that zooms your golden gun while aiming down sights

Khepri’s sting to gain invisibility after crouching, so you can use invisibility for the Gunslinger and Nightstalker!

Sunbreakers for the warlocks which will increase the duration of your solar grenades and grants you an extra grenade.

ACD Feedback Fence , which will deal an AOE damage when you are being meleed

Purifier robes for sunsingers which will disorients enemies when you activate radiance

Lucky raspberry makes you spawn with full grenade energy and arcbolts will chain further

For the weapons we have the prison of elders exotics that are making a comeback:

The Fusion Rifle Queenbreakers bow, which is essentially a sniper

Dreg’s promise which ricochets rounds but is not very usefull

Lord of wolves is a cool shotgun, which is a burst firing shotgun with a lot of ammo

And we have Patience and Time, which makes you invisible when you aim down sights

One of the cooler exotics in the game in my opinion

Universal Remote, is a shotgun that can be used in the primary slot!

Those are all the exotics coming to year 2. You might be wandering, and Swaye what about Gjallahorn and Ice Breaker? Well I have bad news, they will not be carried over to year 2. Until they find a way how to balance gjallahorn it wont come to year 2 simply because its over powered, and as with Ice breaker they want to discourage the camping style of icebreakers of sitting in a spot and camping the bosses.

And if you were wondering…. the vex mythoclass is also not coming back neither.

I am personally excited about the Khepri’s Sting this can really switch up your nightstalker and gunslinger built. I feel the ACD Feedback fence will be very usefull in the upcoming Challenge of Elders, where you will probably be overwhelmed with enemies and this exotic can help you survive in this situation.

And I am looking forward to Universal Remote, this is such a fun gun to mess around with in the crucible.
