Weapon Loadout Guide for Vault of Glass [VOG] 390 Challenge Raid Age of Triumph

Hi Guardians, today we are going to revisit the Vault of Glass Raid and I will be giving you recommendations on your weapon load out for each section of this raid.
I have done a similar video on the Crota’s end raid , if you want to check it out see the youtube card in the right hand corner or see the link in the description below.

This video shows you my recommendation on what I think the most effective weapons are in each encounter. Obviously Feel free to use any weapons that you want in the raid , but if you want to know what the most effective weapons are, you will want to watch the whole video.
In this weapon loadout video I will split the recommendation in legendaries and exotics, so if you don't have a certain exotic don't feel left out, there is always a legendary replacement which i will call out in this video.

Before we start with the video if you are a new player and you are still lacking any good weapons I can recommend you to buy the vendor Event Horizon sniper, this is an high impact sniper that is useful for almost any raid encounters. As for your primary the Treads upon stars is an excellent scout rifle that you can easily obtain with a skeleton key from any Cabal Strike.

With that out of the way let’s start with the video.

At the start of the raid you will need to stand on the three platforms to form the spire. The only enemy that might be a threat to you is the shielded minotaur that might throw you off the plate. The only recommendation I have in this phase is to have a shotgun to deal with the minotaurs , and you can use your favorite primary or heavy. This phase is very straightforward and it should not pose a problem to your fire team.

Once you are in the templar’s well you will need to defend the confluxes. The high priority enemies here are the shielded minotaurs and the fanatics.
Also here the shotgun will be your answer to the minotaurs and a rocket launcher with cluster bombs will make sure all the fanatics are dead when they spawn.
As for your primary use anything you like, I like to use a scout in this encounter.
Gjallarhorn will be your go to exotic for this round, it is excellent against minotaurs or against the fanatics.

At the oracle phase ideally you want to use a full Vault of Glass weapon loadout with the oracle disruptor perk , which will provide you with extra bonus damage to the oracles.
I like to use the Vision of Confluence in my primary, and the found verdict shotgun to deal with the oracles and minotaurs, and the corrective measure as my machine gun for any troublesome situations.
If you don’t have any vault of glass weapons then a scout or pulse will do as your primary. I prefer these as it is easier to hit those annoying hobgoblins snipers from a far, whereas auto rifles and hand cannons lack the range to be effective.
Complement this with a shotgun and your choice of heavy, a machine gun or rocket launcher will both do well.
As for exotics any of the Vault of Glass Adept Elemental Primary also has the oracle disruptor perk so use that if you don't have the legendary version of the gun. Otherwise use the trusty old gjally or sleeper which can one shot the oracle.

After finishing the oracles you will be facing the first raid boss the Templar.
The ideal loadout will be a sleeper stimulant or gjallarhorn , sniper and then your favorite primary in that order. Empty the sleeper or gjally first, then use a heavy synth if you have one, otherwise continue your DPS with you sniper , afterwards ideally you should try to find more sniper or heavy ammo otherwise continue your dps with your primary and if your team is doing the same that should be enough to get the templar down. Obviously utilize your weapons bubble, tether or viking funeral if that is available to you to further improve your maximum DPS.

If you do not have the mentioned exotics you will want to focus on sniping the templar with an high impact sniper, then use your favorite heavy and then your primary.

Once the templar is down continue your way through the gorgon maze until you arrive at the gatekeeper. The gatekeeper will be your priority here which you can shut down pretty quickly with a sleeper stimulant or gjallahorn. As for legendaries if you are going to get the relic use a sniper and your favorite heavy weapon to take down the gatekeepers. Others that are on the platforms should prioritize on taking the minotaurs down with shotguns or your favorite heavy weapon. As for your primaries use anything you like, I prefer to use a hand cannon.

The final encounter is Atheon and there are three things that you should be focusing on and that is adds, oracles and atheon himself.
Use your favorite primary against adds, I like to use a hand cannon here. If you have a vault of glass weapon with the oracle disruptor perk you should prioritise on using that. I like to use my secondary to deal with the oracles, the Praetorian Foil fusion rifle which has the oracle disruptor perk is an excellent choice here that can one shot the oracles, otherwise use a sleeper which also one shots the oracle or use a sniper if you don’t have either of them.
As for atheon prioritise on using the sleeper stimulant if you have one , otherwise use any high impact sniper and then switch to a machine gun and afterwards your primary in that order.  Do not use a rocket launcher as you will blow yourself up in the shield and secondly you are wasting time if you are are jumping out of the shield to shoot your rocket, so focus on using a sniper instead.

Once Atheon is defeated hopefully you received one of the raid weapons. The Vault of glass raid weapons are all excellent weapons to have for any encounter.

So I hope this helps you out with your Vault of glass Raid, let me know in the comments below if I have missed anything. Have a look at the YouTube Card in the right hand corner or in the description below where you can find similar videos for the other raids.

Weapon Loadout Guide for Crota’s End 390 Age of Triumph

Hi Guardians , I have been having tons of fun lately playing the crota end raid. However I did noticed that there are still some guardians that have never played this raid before or that they were using the wrong weapons for each encounter, so this video is for you guys where I give you suggestions on what gun to use in each section of the raid. If you are an experienced player stick around, you might see something useful or at least you can add some suggestions in the comments below that I might have missed.

I am totally aware that some guardians might not have certain exotics, dont worry about it , I will break down the gun loadout suggestion in each section of the raid split by legendaries and exotics.
So lets start with the first section of the raid which is the abyss.
You will be facing a lot of low level enemies that will come at you and at the end of the abyss you will find knights, wizards and ogres that you need to deal with.
The main purpose of your primary here is to deal with all of those  low level adds that will be coming at you, any gun with firefly or some crowd control perk will do well here. Fatebringer or any scout or hand cannon with firefly will be the obvious choice. As for exotics the Zhalo Supercell is very effective here, where you dont need to reload as long as you have double kills and the chain lightning exotic perk helps as well with dealing with large crowd of enemies. Or you can use Nechrochasm which is also a lot of fun here since any enemy that you kill will explode.
You want to use your secondary and heavy weapon slot to deal with the knights , wizards and ogres. So I suggest to have a shotgun or sniper as your secondary, and in the heavy slot use a rocket launcher for maximum damage.
As for exotics gjallarhorn will be very effective as you can just shoot and the wolfpack rounds will do extra damage to enemies around the impact area, alternatively you can also use an exotic sword to deal with the knights and you can easily swing the sword around to deal with adds as well.
Dark drinker will be a bit better here than the other swords since it can deal damage all around you, so you wont be easily swamped by adds.

The next encounter is the bridge, depending on whether you are crossing the bridge early or not you will need to stay at your platform and deal with adds. So you will need have a lot of ammo since you can not easily step of your plate, therefore I suggest to use either a scout or a pulse rifle, they are very effective against adds with a minimum amount of bullets required compared to for example auto rifles, I dont suggest to use a hand cannon since the ammo for it is awfully low even when you have the bonus hand cannon ammo perk on, you will run out of ammo fast.

Your secondary and heavy will be used to kill your sword bearer or any knights. So use a sniper , shotgun or rocket launcher to deal with them. Your exotic choice will be gjallarhorn or an exotic sword, in this case the raze lighter is slightly better than the rest because it can focus its damage on one target. If you go for an exotic sword make sure to use a sniper in your secondary so you can get your short and long range covered, the same if you are using a rocket launcher in that case use a shotgun as your secondary.

Once everyone is across and the swords are spawning you can use R1 to swipe and R2 to use the heavy slam. To kill your gatekeeper you will need to use 3 heavy slams, and dont forget that you can use your super as well once this is fully charged, it will do a heavy slam type of attack around you.

Once that section is completed continue through the thrall hallway. This section is not hard so I wont deep dive into this.

At the deathsinger if you are doing the challenge mode, it is so much easier if you have an exotic sword, use the raze-lighter for the focused R2 attack, to kill a knight you will need one R1 Swipe followed by an R2 heavy attack, if you dont have have a raze lighter a dark drinker will do as well. Since time is crucial for the challenge if you are using an exotic sword dont bother to switch to your primary or secondary , to save time just use your sword to kill knights, wizards, orgres and adds , the only time you should be using your primary or secondary is to kill the shrieker in the room.
The full legendary loadout will be slower to complete the challenge but it is in now way a blocker. Use any primary that you want, as for the secondary I highly recommend a shotgun to deal with the knights and wizards, and use a rocket launcher in your heavy weapon slot for the ogres and knights.

For Crota the final encounter, you simply need two things... which is an high impact sniper and a rocket launcher with tracking.
Use the rocket launcher to take down crota , and use the sniper to take down any unwanted knights and the oversoul.
As for exotics you should be using the Gjallarhorn for Crota or if you are on Oversoul duty you can use the sleeper stimulant to take that down.
As for the primary you can use anything you want to deal with the adds.

Once crota is finished hopefully you can enjoy the sweet loot and do this all over again on another character!

So I hope this helps you out with your crota run, let me know in the comments below if I have missed anything. If you like this video I will do a similar gun loadout video as well for the other raids, there will be a youtube card in the right hand corner linking to those videos when its ready or you can find the links to those videos in the description below.

6 THINGS you MISSED at the Destiny 2 Reveal livestream #Destiny

Welcome Guardians, this is the YouTube Channel for all things Destiny! This channel aims to provide you news, gameplay and tips & tricks for Destiny. Join and Subscribe for more videos!

Hi Guardians, I am super hyped up since the destiny 2 reveal last week and I am sure most of you are as well. Over the last week we received some more news , and I have compiled this all together in this video for you. So let me share with you the 6 things that you might have missed in Destiny 2.

Welcome back guardians , the Destiny 2 reveal stream was just finished last week but I have some exciting news that might not have been mentioned in the stream.
if you haven't watch it yet or if you don't have time to watch the full stream, I created a 10 min summary of the reveal stream. You can find the video as a youtube card that should pop now in the right hand corner or you can find the link in the description below.

Now let's start with the video.

  1. We already know that you will be able to play destiny 2 on PC, however details on this was never mentioned before. As it turns out Destiny 2 on PC will be available through Blizzard owned platform called Battlenet, where you will have access to in-build friends list and chat functionality and the PC version will also support 4k and uncapped framerates.
We have a picture which shows the keyboard mapping and there is nothing special there, as you might have expected the WASD keys are as with any other game for your basic movements , grenade and melee attacks are at the top, you have reload on the right and at the bottom you have the super ability and jump buttons. If you don’t like this setup you will have the option to customize this with custom key mapping. Other then that PC fans might be disappointed as it has been confirmed that the PC release will happen later than the console release on the 8th of September.

2. Look at this beautiful wallpaper of the European Dead zone which is one of the new planets in Destiny 2 , a  shoutout to Hexer who created this and many more 5k destiny 2 wallpapers. There is a link in the description below where you can download this.
Looking at this picture people have been speculating that this might be the traveler. And now it is confirmed, Deej mentioned in a playstation access interview that this is indeed a shard of the traveler what was "discarded" during the collapse.
This might be the reason why we are visiting this planet in the game in an effort to try to regain our light.

3. At the reveal stream we saw a quick glimpse of what appears to be the Dubious Volley Rocket Launcher exotic. The existence of this gun was already data mined a few years ago, but it never made it in the current destiny game.
So it is interesting to see that Bungie finally decided to use this gun in destiny 2, and time will tell whether this will be just as epic as the gjallarhorn exotic .

4. There will be no grimoire website in Destiny 2. Grimoire contains the lore of destiny and it comes in the form of cards that are unlocked with certain activities within the game. At the moment we rely on youtubers like My Name is Byf and others to tell the lore or you can deepdive into the grimoire cards yourself on the destiny grimoire website.
As a result not many guardians are fully aware of all the lore that is happening in the game.
Bungie decided to change this in Destiny 2 with more story telling through missions called Adventures and in-game narratives that will help you learn more about the game.
I am very looking forward to this , I really like the lore behind the game but I don't want to leave the game to find out more about the game. That really never made any sense to me.

5. Supers, in destiny 2 we already know that we will have three new supers, which is the Titan Void Sentinel, the Warlock Solar Dawnblade and the Hunter Arcstrider which is already dubbed as the poledancer.
But there are also changes in how the supers will work, first off all the supers has been slightly tweaked. Some supers like the Titan Striker has now been changed to a roaming super , so after the slam you can slam again or do a shoulder like charge towards your enemies.
The gunslinger has been tweaked as well where you can shoot the golden gun now six times instead of three.
And the way how you choose your abilities is changed as well, the Super abilities are now grouped together in certain clusters. So that offers you less customizability and it looks like that bungie wants to push you to use a specific setup that they were intended for.
Without any gameplay to try out these builds it is in my opinion too early to tell whether this is a bad or a good thing. So let's wait until the beta release so we can try out the different super setups.

6. The reveal stream has teased it a bit with all the new exotics and guns but it is now also confirmed by bungie as well, that there is a new weapon foundry called VEIST. Here are some picture of the guns, the color scheme seems to be mostly green, black and grey and it has a futuristic design with some gothic elements here and there.
In my opinion this looks very badass and it is already my favorite weapons foundry now, and I can’t wait to see more of these VEIST guns in destiny 2.

So thats sums up the things that you might have missed from the Destiny 2 reveal stream. Let me know in the comments below if there is anything else that I might have missed, I would love to hear the comments from you as well.

FUNNIEST Titan Defender TROLL Build for Mayhem #Destiny

via IFTTT
Welcome Guardians, this is the YouTube Channel for all things Destiny! This channel aims to provide you news, gameplay and tips & tricks for Destiny. Join and Subscribe for more videos!

This defender troll build allows your sniper to one shot to the body, let me show you how in this video.

[intro]

Hi Guardians welcome back , today I will be showing you the funniest defender troll build for Mayhem.
If you are unfamiliar with the Mayhem game type... it basically super charge all of your abilities , so it means that your super, melees and grenade abilities will charge much faster.

How much faster you say? Well with a maxed out discipline your grenade will recharge in 4 to 5 seconds. So by the time I finish this sentence the grenade has already recharged.

Even though all the abilities will recharge faster , stats will still matter so depending on your build you still want to max out your intellect, discipline or strength

Before we start deep diving into the build, I have to mention that this is a Troll build.
It is not designed for high K/D’s , this build is solely focused on fun. And Fun will be mostly on your part because the receiving end will be annoyed as hell, so be prepared for hate mails.

With that out of the way let's talk about the build.
The most important guns for this build is the Universal Remote and your favorite high impact sniper, anything in the 31 impact or higher category will do, so that is the 1000 yard, Longbow, LDR or Eirene archetype, I will talk about it later why you want to have this particular impact archetype

As for heavy weapon I use the sword with memory of radegast so you can reflect supers or your favorite rocket launcher it does not matter too much. Use whatever you want.

As for the artifacts, If I am using the sword I use the memory of radegast otherwise I like to use Memory of jolder to remove the sprint cooldown. But too be honest anything will do. The most important things are the universal remote and an high impact sniper.

As for the Defender Build we are going to use
Suppressor grenades
Increased control
Weapons of light
Unbreakable
Titan Codex 1
Bastion
Titan codex 5
And Untouchable

When you combine this setup with Universal Remote and the Sniper you will see the synergies of this build.

Universal Remote gives an overshield when you kill someone and having this together with Unbreakable which constantly recharges your force barrier, means that you will be super tanky for your next kill.

And When the super is up you should place your weapon bubble which now increases the damage of your universal remote so it increases the chance of having those one hit kills and again it will make sure you have an overshield up for the next kill.
Or you can now switch to your high impact sniper which now has the ability to kill with only one body shot due to the benefits of the weapons of light buble. That is why i mentioned before that you should have at least the 31 impact sniper archetype because any lower impact snipers won’t have enough impact with weapons of light to get that one body shot kill.

So you can see how the perks work very well together with the chosen weapons. Unbreakable makes sure you have your overshield up at all times, and Bastion and Untouchable makes sure your bubble is up at all times, and you have suppressor grenades to shut down all the supers around you.

You can add some extra fun factor by equipping a sword in your heavy weapon slot together with Memory of Radegast so you can deflect supers or use the sword for close range combat. This is especially useful when you have your bubble up so you can dip in and out for cover.

This build works very well in smaller maps with tight corner so you can surprise the enemy  like cauldron , drifter or firebase delphi. Stay away from big open maps as your bubble will get sniped pretty easily by supers and there is not enough cover for you to use your shotgun.

Again this is not a build for getting high KD’s but it doesnt mean you can not get good games with it, I actually managed to get  a positive KD with more than half of my matches and this is while having fun and not being super competitive. And that is what this build is all about which is having fun, trying something different and too be blunt also annoying the hell out of other players.

You can see in the gameplay where I kill someone with a bodyshot because of weapons of light and where I win melee fights because the force barrier is up, or when the enemy is suppressed and I managed to get in and get the kill.

So in summary
You want to shut down enemies supers and abilities with suppressor grenades and throw them at the enemies as often as possible.
You want to put the weapons of light bubble up as often as possible
And you want to have your force barrier up as often as possible to make you tankier.

Try out this build and let me know how it works out for you.

We are getting closer in closing the gap to reach the 2000 subscriber goal.
If you like the content that I am making then I would highly appreciate it if you can subscribe to help me reach 2000 subscribers.
