Swaye here with a destiny video! Today we are going to talk about Iron Banner. This will be live from Tuesday until next week and let’s see what Lord Saladin has this week.
Lord Saladin this week has the Gauntlets and Chest in the armour department , see here the rolls for the Warlock, Titan and Hunter. The warlocks will be happy with the extra ammo for snipers and all the armour pieces have the Intellect Discipline rolls which will please a lot of guardians. There is nothing remarkable for the Titans, no one will need reload gauntlets for sidearm, at least most of the pieces have the intellect and discipline rolls. It is a good day to be a Hunter, especially if you like hand cannons. The chest piece has more ammo for Hand cannons which is really essential for PVE, also both gauntlets has the increase reload speed for Hand Cannons. And to top it off also all of them have the intellect discipline rolls!
Now in the weapon department we the Finnala’s peril Hand Cannon and the Bretomart Machine Gun, I have done an indepth review for both of them. Check out my reviews video’s for in depth analysis of both guns in the description below.
Unfortunately the rolls are exactly the same as with the last time these guns were introduced in the previous iron banner.
Let’s start with the Hand Cannon, it has Steadyhand / Fastdraw / Quickdraw - Relentless Tracker - Handloaded / Smallbore / Feather Mag - Third Eye
If you are looking for a good hand cannon I suggest to farm this gun, as it is much easier to get this gun than a similar one like the eyasluna or imago loop. When the taken king started I have only seen one eyasluna drop and maybe 2 or 3 imago loop drops , unfortunately I havent been lucky to get one. But I did got my Finnala’s peril with the previous Iron banner and mine has Range finder and reinforced barrel and grenadier. And this is my favorite year 2 Hand Cannon! As for the machine gun we have the following perks: Accurized / Smart Drift Control / Field Choke - Spray and Play - Fitted Stock / Hand laid stock / Reinforced Barrel - Crowd Control
I wouldnt use this gun over Qullim’s Terminus but if you have good rolls you should keep it as this is one of the better looking Machine guns in the game. Look at it its just so sexy.
In this Iron Banner week I would definitely suggest to farm the Hand Cannon Finnala’s peril. This is an amazing gun, especially when you have perks that increases the range.
This gun will start dropping when you reach rank 3, so if you want to farm this use this little trick.
You will want to reach rank 3 and then stop ranking up. Because if you rank up you will open up the inventory pool and thus lower your chances to drop the hand cannon.
I suggest to stay on rank 3 and then play with your other characters up to rank 3 and until you got the hand cannon that you are satisfied with.
