As of the making of this video high firing auto rifles and pulse rifles are dominating the crucible. Before the rise of iron the only auto rifles in this high firing archetype are the Doctrine of Passing from trials or the gunsmith’s Arminius-D.
Now in year 3 we have 3 more guns in this archetype and that is the Hex Caster ARC which can be obtained from playing the crucible, the Iron Banner the Unbent Tree and the focus of this video will be the auto rifle from New monarchy the Assembly II.
Specifically we will be focusing on the Vendor Roll which has the following perks
Red dot ora
Steadyhand IS
OEG
Armor Piercing Rounds
Quickdraw
Perfect balance
Third eye
Counter balance
Steadyhand IS , perfect balance and counterbalance is a must for this gun as the base stability is relatively low you will need to have any perks that can improve this stat.
Unfortunately this gun can not be rolled with braced frame or hand laid stock which can give a great boost in stability. As for stability options..., perfect balance and counterbalance are the best this gun can offer in the perk trees.
So these two perks are a must to make high firing auto rifle useable in the crucible, which leaves little to nothing to customize your desired roll for this gun. The only interesting options in the first perk tree is high caliber rounds for the extra flinch, quick draw so you draw your weapon faster this is very handy if you switch to your secondary back and forth and maybe hip fire for those close quarter panic moments.
Here you can also see what the other perk options are in the second and third column but again you will need perfect balance and counterbalance in order for this gun to be useable in the crucible.
So in the end at best you will have a poor man’s Doctrine of Passing.
I want to be more positive about this gun but you are probably better of with getting the Armanius-D package from the gunsmith and wait for a roll with Braced Frame and counterbalance or get the Unbent Tree when Iron Banner is around. The iron banner auto rifle can also come with Braced Frame and counterbalance to max out your stability.
Can you still do well with this gun in the crucible yes you can, but you are at an unnecessary disadvantage when your opponent probably has a better gun.
If you want to join the high rate of fire auto rifle meta go ahead and buy this gun but you want to replace this as soon as possible once you can get the god roll armanius-d or a braced frame counterbalance Unbent Tree when Iron Banner is around.
