Enigma's Draw FWC Sidearm Review

The faction rally is once again upon us and I managed to get the Future War Cult Side Arm the Enigma's Draw.
A lot of Destiny 1 players will be very excited about this sidearm because it has exactly the same perks as the god roll worm wood side arm also from the Future War Cult back in Destiny 1.

So you can get this sidearm by ranking up Future War Cult and lets go over the perks.
It has precision frame, making the recoil more vertical.
Control,
Tactic
And
Target SAS
High Caliber Rounds
Accurized Ballistics
And Zen Moment

This gun is very stable and it is very easy to hit your shots thanks to the precision frame and zen moment which will increase the stability when you cause damage with this weapon. I like to use Control SAS for a more balanced setup , and of course high caliber rounds which is arguable the most popular perk to have on any gun.

In PVE this performs ok, it is a sidearm so naturally you want to use this on the short to medium range. However the damage output is rather low and I find myself running out of ammo pretty quickly because you need to pump out so many shots in order to put out some damage.
In PVE you are much better off with medium to long range weapons like an auto rifle or scout, the Enigma's Draw  is useable and it is fun for public events but if you are going for the more serious PVE activities like the raid or nightfall then stay away from this sidearm you are much better off with a scout or autorifle.

In Pvp the Enigma's Draw is not as strong as the Wormwood back in Destiny 1. In order to be competitive with this gun you will need to hit all 5 of your headshots in order to have a time to kill of 0.93 seconds and this number will go down drastically to 1.4 seconds if you only hit bodyshots. So it is a very punishing weapon if you dont hit your crits. I did not manage to do well with this gun, most of the time I get mowed down by SMG's before I can finish the kill. Actually all of the SMG's have a better body shot to kill time than the Enigma's draw.
You are much better off with the popular Omolon or Suros sidearms. The Burst weapons from Omolon are easy to use and the Last Hope is still in my opinion the best Sidearm in the game, if your aim is not that accurate then you might want to try out the Suros sidearm they are full auto so you can just focus on your aim.
Both the Omolon and Suros weapons have a better body shot to kill time , and the optimum time to kill is either the same or faster, so there is really no reason to use the Enigma's Draw.

I was very excited about this gun because based on the perks it is essentially the Destiny 1 wormwood which was so dominant in the crucible. Unfortunately in Destiny 2 this gun is outmatched by SMG's and all the Suros and Omolon Sidearms.
In PVE there is really no need to use a sidearm, in all PVE activities you are far better off with an auto rifle or scout. And if you do use a sidearm you will find yourself out of ammo very often.
Due to this gun being lackluster in both Pvp and PVE, I am going to give the Enigma's Draw a D.

Thank you so much for watching, let me know in the comments below which faction weapon you want me to review next.
